So switch off, sit back & enjoy. If you like long walks this place is a beach combers paradise with a twist .... This a perfect retreat for artists, writers & anyone requiring a little RNR !

Lives in Liverpool, United Kingdom
Welcome to my world ! Just 12miles north of Liverpool,. Nestled within the garden is...... The Owl House winner of the very popular - George Clarke's Shed of the Year 2015 ..... a magical space, created by another artist / Spanish friend Leonardo Alvarez Pinel. The Owl House is timber framed with some parts made from cob, recycled bottles with a grass roof. There is a train service 10mins walk away and 10mins on the train you can reach Freshfield where you can visit the FORMBY PINE WOODS there you can see the famous Red Squirrels living wild in there natural habitat. Liverpool is 20mins on the train South full of great places to visit. Art & theatre, museums, L1 with its many shops, the Albert Dock & the Liverpool Tate. the Owl House shed was built in 2010 using cob and recycled materials and competed it with a ‘living roof’ Since then it’s become a fully functional, stunning shed where folks can chill out and enjoy the views. It is an amazing experience, a shed, reimagined and repurposed to create a beautiful space, even earning the spot as winner of the Eco category of Cuprinol’s Shed of the Year in 2015. Guests enjoy beautiful views over sand dunes and onto the sea. The perfect place to Please no smoking No extra guests Please bring ID on arrival The Neighbourhood Overview The area I live in is tranquil and quiet. It is so relaxing and spending time in the Owl House means you can really get close to nature. There are local mobile dunes and the sleepy High Town beach with its petrified forest and snaking Alt Estuary. Just 3 miles North you can find the famous Formby beach where they discovered footprints of Neolithic men and the town with its pinewoods reserve, home to the red squirrel! But within just 30mins you can be in the middle of Liverpool - a busy busy city, one that is constantly growing and evolving into a creative and colourful place with great places to eat, visit and experience brilliant culture! Getting Around There is a local rail way service, the trains run every 15mins, and it is a 10min easy walk through the village, from my home to the station.
