An idyllic stopover in Alsace. Gorgeous family chateau only two minutes amble from the centre of one of France's most beautiful Medieval villages. Chantal couldn't be most hospitable and a summer breakfast in her gorgeous garden is a must. Her flair for interior decor means that the rooms could easily feature in any upmarket interiors magazine ! A gem.

Truly one of the best places I have stayed while travelling! Chantal is a wonderful host, she was very easy to communicate with and did her utmost to offer us a comfortable accommodation. The rooms and bathroom are extremely clean and everything looks better than the pictures. Chantal was kind to facilitate the parking in front of the house and prepared a small breakfast in the morning for us which we enjoyed in the garden. The city itself is a little piece of fairytale. Would definitely recommend Chantal's place for anyone who wants to visit the Alsace region.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay with Chantal, who welcomed us with open arms! The guest floor was very comfortable and homely, allowing us to settle instantly after a long day of travel. The property is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of town, with the added convenience of secure, private parking. Great base for exploring the 'wine route' and Vosges mountains nearby.

We had a superstay at Chantal's on our way home from Italy to Holland. Eguisheim is a very nice and lively little town and the centre a walk away from her place. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant she pointed us and in the morning she served us breakfast in the garden. So relaxing! Felt right at home despite of the short stop. Would recommend this place to family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We had the entire upstairs to ourselves and no other guests, so the private gated grounds and garden felt like our own home. Breakfast each day in the garden was lovely and Chantal was an excellent host. We spent three nights here and could have spent more exploring Alsace. Eguisheim was the perfect-sized village for us and we enjoyed walking in the vineyards, dining at Au Viex Porche. We also enjoyed visiting Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Comar. Castles, wine tasting, foie gras and wonderful history. Very highly recommended! Merci, Chantal!
