About this listing

Harvest Farm is an 18-acre property located just outside the township of Healesville in the beautiful Yarra Valley. We have two houses available, Dairy House & Harvest House, that each offer seclusion and luxury for up to 4 guests per house.

The space

Your own beautiful farmhouse with a touch of luxury ... on a gentle north-facing slope Harvest Farm is an 18 acre property just minutes from the township, overlooking the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary. The two stylish farm houses (available separately) are surrounded by a country garden of camellias & roses, huge oaks and mountain views. Harvest House and Dairy House offer seclusion and luxury for up to 4 guests via 2 king-sized bedrooms in each house and have old time character with modern luxury. The ultimate in style, relaxation & tranquility, this is what a country escape should be like!

Guest access

Each house is readied for guests with masses of flowers from the garden, handmade local soap, fresh ground coffee and twining tea. Our rates include breakfast for the first morning, guests are provided with breakfast provisions of thick bacon, free range eggs, tomatoes, crusty bread, oranges, butter local jams and milk.

When the weather is fine there are countless places to secrete yourself; in a deckchair to take in the fresh air and mountain views, sitting on the terrace in the afternoon, or swinging in the hammock under a huge 130 year old oak tree. In winter, stoke up the wood fire and cosy up on the couch, or lie in front of the fire on the huge persian cushions with a glass of red wine, the weekend papers, some jazz and watch the clouds roll over the mountains.

Kids will love spending time exploring, climbing in the tree house, the little playground, collecting eggs for breakfast, feeding bread to the animals & discovering country space.

Perfect city get away. We stayed in the Dairy and just felt so comfortable immediately. We had a perfect night in, nestled amongst the autumn garden, fire burning, had a wander through the veggie patch and orchard, were greeted by all the animals, play on the slide and a big bath.. The hosts are lovely to chat to and couldn't do enough for us, showing us around the garden and helping our toddler feed their alpacas. Lovely home grown produce for breaky as well as local goodies. Not even a 5 min drive to the Healsville Sanctuary which was handy too.

What a beautiful part of the world and such a gorgeous and cosy place to stay. We loved the garden and picked a few veggies for our dinner which was such a treat for us. The kitchen was lovely to cook in, the spa bath was amazing and the bed super comfy. We loved our stay and Karina was really quick at responding and easy to communicate with. Thank you for having us!

Great house in an amazing location. The farm surroundings were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast each morning and sampled the produce from the garden. The hammock under the big tree was great for an afternoon naps. The rooms were both very roomy (we stayed in the dairy house) and the bathroom with the spa bath was epic. The kitchen was well equipped with good tea and coffee. We would for sure recommend staying here and would be back again especially being able to bring the dog along and being kid friendly.

This place is awesome. We were looking for a place for a family getaway. The animals, the farm (ample supply of fresh eggs, fruits and herbs), the play and rest area with hammock cater perfectly for our 2yo girl and our parents. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is definitely a plus point. The town and attractions (e.g. Healesville Sanctuary and Maroondah Dam) are just short drive from the house. We will definitely stay again if we are visiting Healesville.
