Description

The space

The house accommodates 12 adults across 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens 2 Living rooms, a breakfast room and large dining room. 1 room is suitable for twin occupancy and 1 for single use.

Note the single and twin rooms are located at the top of the house (2nd floor) with a relatively steep stair to climb on the last section so may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The neighbourhood

The house occupies an elevated cliff top position at Cliff End in the village of Pett Level with far reaching widespread views across the English Channel and the surrounding countryside. The property has direct access to the Saxon Shore Way footpath and National Trust land. In the vicinity are local nature reserve and bird sanctuary and spectacular walks along the Jurassic coast across Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve.

Other things to note

We are fortunate enough to have a resident peacock called William living in our garden. Guest are required to respect his privacy and under no circumstances bring pets, or invite day visitors with pets to the property. You're welcome (and encouraged) to feed William using the seed provided.

We have 3 small balconies on the 1st floor which are currently undergoing renovation. Unfortunately these will not be accessible until further notice. The balcony doors can still be opened.

The rural and cliff edge location means the Internet provision is ok for basic web browsing & email in the main house (low speed connection and varies depending on environmental conditions like weather).

There is one high chair and a travel cot.
