We have booked Sofya's lovely apartment twice in the last few months for business trips for our National Retail Manager. The first stay was 6 weeks and just recently she stayed for 2 weeks. Sofya was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured our staff member had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment is exactly as described, is very clean and close to shops and public transport. We will definitely be booking this apartment again and have no hesitation recommending it to others.

I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this beautiful apartment and Sofya who is an incredible host. Firstly, the photos just don't do this apartment justice. It is modern, very clean, smooth, bright and spacious. I came there for a business trip so I was working at the apartment during the days, sometimes hosting meetings in the apartment and showing clients my new artwork in the front room/living room and often zipping out to the CBD by taxi or foot for other appointments. It was ideal for a business trip but so cosy in the evenings when I just wanted to unwind and read. Sofya is a perfect host. She is accomodating, kind, understanding — and these qualities were even more evident on my stay at her apartment because of the sheer number of inconvenient surprises. (For example, my arriving flight was delayed by more than three hours and Sofya continuously liaised with me to ensure I would be able to get into the apartment even after midnight. I also had urgent deliveries for my work that needed to be at the apartment when I arrived which she organised for me without any problems.) Basically, with Sofya, when Plan A doesn’t work for whatever reason, she has a Plan B and a Plan C. She gave me the impression she was there if ever I needed her but, otherwise, she left me to my own devices which I love. The bathroom and the bedroom had all the comfort and class of a hotel for me and her kitchen, pantry, fridge, television and so on are top notch and well-equipped. The apartment has close proximity to anything you could need during the days like local cafes with great menus, pubs, salons, grocery stores, salons and so on. At night, Errol Street (which is the apartment’s local strip), turns into an amicable and fun place to have a few drinks or a casual dinner with friends. North Melbourne is a wonderful area for walking and exploring and I often went to Lygon Street and the CBD by foot. The short version: I can’t wait to come back here. It’s perfect.

The accommodation was presented well. However being on the ground floor with high rise buildings to the front and back of the property, there was no natural light coming into the accommodation at anytime, which meant having to leave the lights on inside at all times. There was heating only in the living/kitchen area which unfortunately did not extend out to the remainder of the place which did leave it very cold during my stay.

Hi Jags, thanks so much for your review. As a host, I encourage all forms of feedback to ensure I'm providing my guests with a premium experience. I don't however, appreaciate negative feedback that is written out of spite. I understand that you needed to cut your two month stay short by a week however I do have a strict cancellation policy which clearly states that bookings are non refundable. Your feedback prior to this descision was glowing and contradictory of this review; especially as you had asked to extend your stay for a much longer period. Thanks again and I wish you all the best.

Sofya's apartment is in a great location in North Melbourne. It is stunning and modern, and is beautifully fitted out with everything you would possibly need for a stay. Sofya was super helpful and prompt with any queries. We would definitely stay there again.
