Good Morning Dan, Thank you for your nice review. I forgot to tell you that you son is welcome to have our home phone number in case he needs a local contact. When my husband was here we had students in our home all the time - to study- do research or just visit. Please pass on the numb(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). It is a land line so we always get the message. It was great having you for a guest. Nancy

An excellent stay! We had a great time at Nancys. The house was large and quiet. In the morning she made us a delicious breakfast. She was very considerate and made sure we had everything we needed.

Hello Scott, Thank you for the nice review. How did you both due in the race? It was very cold down here and only got up to 9 degrees. And often windy. Hope you got to see some beautiful countryside. Nancy

Nancy was so accommodating and I felt incredibly welcomed into her home and life! Such a wonderful stay where you'll feel right at home. I was leaving for Isle Royale the next morning and she woke up at 5:30am to make me coffee/ breakfast and say bye. Stay in this beautiful home and Nancy even has some wonderful stories to share. Thanks!

Nancy was there when I arrived and right away made me feel very welcome. She has a very cool Victorian house and I had a big room and private bath. She was extremely hospitable and I felt like part of the family in a few minutes. That evening she took me on a mini tour of the area and to Lake Superior. I also thoroughly enjoyed meeting her adult son Andy who has special needs and their dog Buddy. It was a great 2 day stay in a beautiful and fascinating part of the U.P. I wish I could have stayed longer. So much to see; so little time.

I have lived in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan for 30 years and enjoy all 4 seasons. I quilt and knit and own a yarn shop in the Village. I enjoy walks in the woods, gardening, and snow showing. You wll enjoy the peaceful and slower life style in the village.
