THE AREA: SANDBAAI

Sandbaai is one of the newer suburbs in the greater Hermanus area that lies literally in a little sandy bay, hence its name. It is a stone’s throw away from Hermanus and to the east of Onrus, little over an hour’s drive from Cape Town at the entrance to the Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley which places it in a most advantageous position.

Just beyond Sandbaai, the Hemel-en-Aarde village has a large variety of shops, farm stalls, galleries, studios, jewelers and restaurants, and a wine route which is a popular way to spend most of a day. But what makes Sandbaai unique is it's position sandwiched between the sea and the slopes of the Onrust Mountains, between the Onrus River and Hermanus that places it in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

Thank you Richard for the absolutely amazing and wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in your stunning home. Everything had been considered, thought of and made available for the best possible experience. The attention to detail and design aspects were wonderful. I especially appreciated the beautiful bottle of wine, heated blankets and fire place. Thank you thank you

We had a super weekend at Pashasha. It was exactly as described and communication with Richard and Chris was very good. Loved that they supplied tea, coffee, sugar and salt and pepper. We did some lovely sightseeing around the area. It's a short walk down to the beach and then an easy walk along a coastal pathway.

We loved our weekend at Pashasha! The communication from Richard before our trip was great and Chris was available all weekend if we had any questions/issues, which we didn't as Chris met us upon arrival and took us on a tour around the house explaining all the ins and outs - he was great! The house was awesome and had all we needed. We were 4 couples and we had plenty space, all the necessities, and the indoor fireplace was great as it was a wet and rainy weekend! We will definitely recommend Pashasha and we hope to be back in the near future.

Lovely bright airy house with quirky vintage decor. A couple of mins walk to Sandbaai beach and 5 mins further along a coastal path to Onrus where there is a lovely restaurant called Milkwood overlooking the beach. The house had everything we needed and Chris and Richard were great hosts.

We had a superb stay at Pashasha! It has everything you need and the beach is nearby after a short walk along a scenic path. Peaceful and quiet. Chris, the property manager, is super-helpful. A lovely few days - with thanks to Richard and Chris!

We had a fantastic weekend at Pashasha. The house is exactly as advertised and has all the comforts you could wish for in a holiday home. The beach is literally one minute away and Richard was very communicative with Chris the property manager nearby for any other requests. We would love to come back!
