20 min away from Manahattan. Overlooking the Brooklyn Museum, next to Prospect Park and 4 subway stops from downtown NYC, our home is yours too. You’ll find avant-garde bars and restaurants round the corner, vibrant food markets a stroll away, and the subway to NYC over the road
Wake up to the sound of the birds, something that’s not so common in NYC. Your room is light-filled and spacious, with high-ceilings and parquet floors. It has a queen bed, ample storage space (and in the summer months an AC). There are also a few touches to make you feel at home (paintings and the like).
You will also have access to our living room (the usual deal: comfy couches, projector, well-equipped book shelves etc), kitchen (we cook a lot so it's pretty well-equipped) and bathrooms (shower, towels, hair-dryer etc). We have a washer and dryer in close proximity.
Interaction with guests
We love our neighborhood and the city. We enjoy eating, drinking, walking and exploring it every other day. It would be our pleasure to provide you with as much (or as little) information as you'd like. We could talk your ear off with brunch suggestions but also understand the excitement that comes with your own discoveries.
Other things to note
Our location, the peacefulness of the room and the speed with which you can get into NYC are a unique combination.
Be respectful, enjoy the amazing location and we're good to go.

Hey there! I consider myself a happy, energetic and interested person. I love traveling and hearing about travel stories. I have been living in New York for almost 10 years and feel like I have a pretty good sense of the city. That said, as any New Yorker will tell you, it’s a place that is constantly changing.
I adore this city and enjoy finding all the interesting little places that someone missed. I am passionate about food and I cook and search for new restaurants and dishes with the same vigor. I guess this all goes to say that I can definitely give recommendations on places to eat, cool places around the neighborhood and the city.
I love life and travel at every opportunity I get. So far my adventures have taken me to Mexico, Russia, Mongolia, Southern California, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Thailand, India ….. you get the drift. I look forward to hearing your travel tales too.
