Daniel's place is spotless, and the space is beautiful with wood floors, persian rugs, lots of windows and plants. Bed was comfy and I enjoyed soaking in the deep, old school tub. Daniel was an excellent communicator, with easy check in and check out. His place is in a great location, quiet/peaceful but a quick walk to restaurants/shops. Highly recommended!

Dan's place was absolutely spotless! I loved the location, especially being only a block from Potter's Coffee. Dan was extremely friendly and I felt right at home! Perfect place to stay when you're in D.C.

Daniel was a wonderful host, though we didn't meet him because he was away for the week-end. We had the apartment to ourselves and enjoyed playing the piano and bing watching The Get Down on his TV The apartment is large, bright and clean and the bed in the guest room is amazingly comfortable. Although the bedroom is in the front of the building on the first floor, it was quite quiet. Daniel was a wonderful host, though we didn't meet him because he was away for the week-end. We had the apartment to ourselves and enjoyed playing the piano and binge watching The Get Down on his TV. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but there are some restaurants, cafes and shops a few blocks away. The apartment is about 8 minutes from the Green Line Metro, which brings you very close to the mall. It's easy to get back and forth from their, but a little more daunting from other DC locations (not Daniel's fault - blame DC public transportation). For us, it was the right combination of accessibility and peace. We had a great time and would stay with Daniel again.

Wonderful spacious room with plenty of light and comfort. And with a sparkling en suite bathroom. The whole flat is a delight, beautifully restored to its Victorian splendour, and Dan is a gracious welcoming host. Great communication and arrival details. A quiet residential street though with a very bright street light right outside the window. The nearest metro is about ten minutes' walk away but everything else (supermarket, cafes etc) is one block. Nice neighbourhood feel which is the complete opposite to anodyne downtown DC.

While I call DC my home, I am often traveling or working abroad on water relief projects. For me, AirBNB is a great way to see the local side of places and communities. As a guest, I am always kind, clean, courteous, and looking forward to new adventures!
