This 2 bedroom apartment recently Refurbished and brought up to date with today's requirements including Wi-Fi access and cable TV with selective entertainment channels, located in the heart of Valletta the Capital City of Malta. Situated in a perfect spot for easy access to all sightseeing locations, Museums and to the main Shopping Area, this apartment is a home away from home.

The space

This apartment originally part of an old building has been beautifully restored to enhance it's unique features, like the typical Maltese stone walls, in combination with Maltese architectural features. It's located close to the Valletta City center, therefore, very convenient when exploring this, Cultural and Baroque City . Main entrance leads to the stairs for the first floor where one finds a lovely and comfortable living/dining area, decorated in Vibrant Colors. Living are is furnished with a comfortable sofa which may be turned into a Sofa Bed to accommodate kids / young adults if required.
This apartment offers two double bedrooms adorned with comfortable double beds, where you will feel just like home. Apartment is equipped with electric fans and heaters to ensure you feel comfortable at your stay.
A Kitchenette is available equipped with microwave, toaster, fridge, 4-hob with oven, kettle, cutlery and dishes to make a perfect meal to share.

24 HOUR SELF CHECK IN for your comfort and flexible arrival.
Option 1:- Book Airport transfer upon arrival and Taxi Driver will deliver the key to the accommodation.
Option 2:- Code Access to an installed key-box in a nearby building for Key collection.
Option 3:- Personal check available during office hours( Monday - Friday from 9:00 hrs- 17:00 hrs)

Free access to a shared roof terrace situated on the 5th floor of an alternative building located nearby , with amazing sea-views !

PARKING - Parking is available along the roads of Valletta, white marked boxes 24 hours, blue marked boxes available from 7:00 am-7:00 pm Green & Yellow Marked Boxes are for residents only, therefore, they are NO PARKING Zones. Kindly note that charges from CCTV Camera may apply if parked within the walls of Valletta.

A HOUSE MANUAL is available in all our units , where we offer our personal recommendations for restaurants, cafes and places to see and Visit during your stay in this magical City of Valletta. May we remind you that for further questions/requests you may easily contact us during your stay via e-mail or phone during office ours and for emergency outside Office Hours.

Our HOUSEKEEPING and MAINTENANCE team is available for assistance. Bed Linen and a pair of towels per guest is provided upon arrival in the bedroom. Standard booking arrangement is inclusive of linen & towel change when reservations exceed a 7 night stay.

Should you require LUGGAGE STORAGE, it is available upon arrival and departure on request at a supplementary charge. We kindly ask you to advise us in advance, luggage is stored either in our offices or at an alternative location advised by our Team.

LAUNDRY self-service available upon request at a charge. Therefore, Do not worry about the laundry and get it done with us! Washing machine and dryer to use, situated in our office at 54 Marsamxett Road.

Apartment is located just in Valletta center on the way to Sliema Ferry service.

Basic level of cleanliness is required on your departure > cooker and oven are clean and fat-free, crockery and cutlery is washed/dried and put away, any furniture moved is restored to original position, bins emptied of bin bag and taken out of the apartment latest by 10AM. Failure to meet this basic standard will result in extra cleaning charge against the deposit.

I don't like to write negative reviews but our experience with his flat and VBL's customer service was extremely disappointing. The ceiling leaked throughout the stay, becoming worse each day, to the point that the kitchen was unusable. The next door neighbour blasted music at unsociable levels and was rude when requested to turn it down. The shower drain was clogged and the shower flooded when used for more than a few minutes. There were cockroaches in the kitchen. I stress that many of these issues with the flat were not Vbl's fault - the ceiling leak and noise were the fault of the neighbours - but the experience was pretty awful. Further, after a slick check-in procedure and a generally very professional service, Vbl's response to the issues that we faced with this apartment was disappointing. Some members of the team were very keen to help, responsive and made a genuine effort to assist with these issues. However, other messages were ignored and Vbl failed to make arrangements for a refund or discount to reflect the terrible experience we had. I imagine ours was an unrepresentative experience, but it was a terrible experience and we were entitled to expect much more from them.

VBL is a great letting firm, and I can't recommend them enough. The flat is quaint and centrally located, with atmospheric stonework and well appointed rooms. The neighbour is so appalling, though, that this flat is best avoided. His shower drips into the kitchen, and he plays Iron Maiden at volume all hours of the day. You and your loved ones will hate the noise, the constant dripping in the kitchen from the shower upstairs and the sheer lack of consideration.

The apartment was acceptable for a group of 5 friends in Malta over New Years. Communication with VBL prior to arrival was fine, and the key collection from across the road was easy. The apartment itself is very well located in the Old Town of Valletta, and was clean and tidy on our arrival. Some things to be aware of - it is quite small for 6 people, as advertised, and this would require two people to sleep on a rather uncomfortable sofa bed. The hot water tank only caters for around two (short) showers. The kitchen was basic and there weren't any supplies like tea, coffee etc which are sometimes provided by Airbnb places. We had some issues with mosquitos which I can imagine may be worse during summer. The apartment was quiet when we stayed. If you are after somewhere that is well-located it is perfectly acceptable for a few days in Valletta.

Dear Veronica and team Thank you for a truly lovely stay. The apartment was charming and beautifully located. We had a truly lovely and relaxing time in the apartment. Thank you for being so accomodating when our flight was delayed. The previous guests were right to praise the quality of the little bakery around the corner. Though it took a short while to realise it was down the steps in the basement. If we end up coming back with just four of us we will definitely look at staying in the apartment again. A lovely, recently refurbished flat only a street or two back from the pedestrian centre of Valetta. If you're on holidays I wouldn't expect you'd be making a meal in the kitchen (it's a touch impractical) but there's a handful of excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk and plenty more further afield. We drove into Valetta and had no problems with parking in nearby streets, and the area feels as safe and friendly as any other. Would recommend.
