This log home is nestled on 17 wooded acres, rock creek beds, beautiful ravines, 5 miles to Lake Monroe, and 15 minutes to downtown Bloomington. Hand hewn logs, windows throughout, and large, raised porch. Great place to relax with friends and family or find solitude and still have a short drive to a great university town with plenty of local and restaurants and shopping.

The space
The kitchen is ready to be cooked in! There is a coffee press, a toaster oven, and second electric oven. There is a charcoal grill and fire pit with roasting sticks provided. The bedrooms are on the second floor with a small bathroom. The cabin is very open and the second bedroom is loft style.

We are surrounded by property owners who love country life and enjoy the outdoors. There is a shared path on the east and north boundary of the property that neighbors also use. They may have kids riding motorcycles or four wheelers. This is mostly in the fall but do not be surprised if you see others. 17 acres is a lot of space and you can't see other houses from the property but because of the shared path, you may see a few people. Please wave a friendly hello and feel free to walk on the paths as well or explore creek beds.
Our neighbors are invested and lovely people, they are the reason the property feels very safe as they are keeping an eye out. Please be respectful and pleasant should you see a neighbor.
