The house is fantastic apart one major factor; THE SOFA! The modular sofa has three parts; a single chair which is just about ok to sit on, a "chez end" (long piece you can stretch out on) which is comfortable and a two seater which has collapsed and is completely uncomfortable to sit on. We had to take turns sitting on the chez end as the two seater is not fit for purpose. In the evening when everyone was in the house we weren't able to sit around and relax as a group (and we were only 3).
The house is well protected with a 6ft wall/ fence and has a lovely outdoor area with manicured lawn, small same depth pool, two garden tables, loungers and a BBQ. The pool boy came several days to keep the area looking perfect.
The house is fresh, immaculately clean and in good order throughout (apart from sofa). There are 3 bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi bath. However we couldn't figure out how to fill it other than through the shower attachment.
There are 3 double beds and two singles in the downstairs bedroom. Bedding was great and we had plenty of good quality towels.
As per previous feedback there is nothing in the kitchen by way herbs, spices, oil or even salt and pepper. There was a coffee machine but with no filter paper. Meaning we had to buy everything, even washing up liquid. Although there were some dish washer tablets. There wasn't any bottled water in the house but our host offered to drop us off at the supermarket.
The area the house is located in; Sonnelands is a good 30 minute walk to the main waterfront part of Maspalomas and about 15/20 minute walk to the area of the dunes. There is a Spar supermarket about 10 mins walk away with a nice restaurant next door.
Overall we had a nice stay.
