We had two amazing days in Portland. Our stay at Laura's was very pleasant. She and her husband David were very great hosts! You'll notice that they care about their guests and want to give them the best stay possible. Thank you, Laura and David!

Very helpful relaxed hosts, nice historic house in a good neighborhood not far from downtown, free breakfast, and a cute little dog who's a little barky at first but he's really a lover. They rent out a few very nice rooms with antique furnishings in a large house which has two full baths but we had the whole place to ourselves which is always nice and I would imagine would happen frequently heading into the offseason. Overall pretty good value.

I was on a two week road trip and decided to stay in Portland Maine for a night. Great place and great hosts for a fair price. No complaints!

We loved Laura's place and would very much recommend it to other travelers. Laura and her husband were extremely nice and welcoming. The house is lovely and has a great location - we used Uber for a quick and cheap ride to old port and were also able to walk to some cool spots like the Black Cat Coffee shop and the Great Lost Bear. Oh, and Coal the dog is a sweetheart; an absolute lover.

Laura is the nicest host I have had to date and I use AirBnB pretty frequently! She was very accommodating and her home was absolutely beautiful, well decorated, comfy, and definitely had a warm home feeling. Easy street parking, quiet neighborhood. I would definitely be back should I return to Portland.

I am a Registered Nurse at Maine Medical Center. My husband David is a math teacher at Casco Bay High School here in Portland. We have an adorable and loving long haired miniature dachshund named Coal. We moved to Portland Maine 29 years ago from Vermont expecting to stay a couple of years but never left. We love it here. Portland has so much to offer and the ocean beaches nearby are so glorious. It's also a foodie and beer lovers heaven. Fabulous for outdoor enthusiasts. Great culture too. Maine has so much to offer. The people are wonderful too. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Please checkout our guidebook to see a few of our favorite spots.
