Julia is such a great host that I will definitely stay here when I go back to Chicago. Location is close to everything, apartment was great with easy check in, and apartment located above a local pizza shop that I recommend. Lyft & uber rides were so cheap to get everywhere because it's not far from anything.

Apt is exactly as seen in the pictures. Clean and quiet. Pizza downstairs was good and huge for $4.50. Finally figured out that bus 157 takes you all the way down town. It would be better if you have a car while staying here. Julia did reach out to see how we were doing.

Julia's apartment was amazing! It's not in the most central part of town, but you can get anywhere with a 10 minute walk to the train. We used the trains in the morning but took Ubers home late at night ($10 max for a Pool!). Away from noise, but still very convenient to get to. Beautiful apartment. Julia's place is well-furnished with multiple cozy, comfy bedrooms to use. The sheets are so soft and the Nest keeps you warm during a cold Chicago fall/winter. Lots of sheets and sofa space too if you have a larger group (we traveled with 2). Communication with Julia was one of the best I've seen on Airbnb. She's incredibly responsive and transparent about all you need to know. There was a minor water issue during our stay, but Julia was quick to fix it while we were out exploring the city. Check-in/check-out was smooth too! My only *disclaimer* would be that if you're super sensitive to sound and sleep early, this may not be the best pick. Julia's apartment is on the second floor so you're able to hear everything that goes on outside and throughout the floor above. Nothing incredibly loud, but definitely noticeable. Otherwise, this was a great pick and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a value place in Chicago!

Julia is fantastic! She was extremely accommodating, and even gave us some great recommendations on places to eat. (Although my mom didn't believe me about the pizza from downstairs...don't order the jumbo, unless you're feeding a party, or want pizza for a week! It is great pizza, but the size of the box alone almost gave my mom a heart attack! Haha.) We had an amazing weekend, especially thanks to Julia, the awesome location of her apartment, and her assistance with parking and permits ;) She answered any questions right away, and made sure we had everything we needed. I would most definitely stay with her again, and would recommend her to anyone looking to stay in Chicago. Her pup is also as sweet as she is! Thank you again for everything, Julia!
