This is a huge, historic Creole Cottage in the Treme. It was renovated last year down to the studs, with stunning original 1800's brick fireplaces left intact as well as some of the original cypress flooring. All appliances are top of the line and new, and the kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops and bar. On the first floor is the dining room, with 8' reclaimed cypress table, chairs, and pew bench to seat the whole family or group in front of stunning 10 foot historic windows; the living room has seating, bar, large screen streaming roku tv, and an old school radio. The kitchen has new stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, fridge with ice-maker and filtered chilled water, and a half bath. The entire first floor has original 1800's brick fireplaces soaring up the 15 foot ceilings.
Upstairs has more original brick work and new wood floors, with a hallway connecting the 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One bedroom has a very comfortable Queen bed with memory foam mattress, vanity, closet and dresser. The Second bedroom has a very comfortable Queen bed with memory foam mattress, vanity, closet, and dresser. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom between them in the hall. The Third bedroom has two Queen beds with memory foam mattresses, two twin beds, a closet, dresser, nook with desk and chair, and views of downtown New Orleans. This bedroom has the huge master bathroom attached to it as well.
There is a beautiful side porch with gorgeous iron work and seating for enjoying the balmy weather and listening to the riverboat calliope on the wind coming over the Quarter. Also there is a side yard with a lovely concrete and tile mosaic table for eating outdoors.

Really amazing and upscale property! It was in a very convenient location being 4 blocks to the French Quarter (6-8 further on to Jackson Square and the crazy part of Bourbon St) and about 6 blocks to Frenchmen street. Street car is awesome and 2 blocks away for going to the other side of the quarter. The neighborhood is old timey New Orleans w big old mansions that were either renovated beautifully like this one, or currently under renovation, all to look just like they would have in 1800s. Porch was great for the spring weather! Place was spotless and host was very informative and friendly and lives next door if you need him!

This was a great place and Graham was very hospitable. Enjoyed the welcome beers and all the advice on local spots. Very comfortable and quiet. Only a short walk to the FQ, Marigny and Bywater. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to New Orleans. Thanks Graham!

Great house and great value for a large group. Treme is a cool neighborhood if you want some 'real NOLA' outside the Quarter. ~15 minute walk to the French Quarter and a bit closer to Frenchmen St.
