The space

Coach House Faner was was built with disabled guests in mind so the wet room is large and has grips and handles where required. All the doors are wide, and the access good for wheelchairs. An electric chair and electric raising bed are provided. We are very suitable for older guests as well as young families. We offer a travel cot and high chair for infants.

A large gated garden for child safety. There is ample parking for 2 cars, a BBQ area and lawn for guests enjoyment.

Interaction with guests

We live close by and are available to offer help and advice if needed. The cottage is on a smallholding so children may enjoy helping feed the chickens and ducks. Sometimes in spring, there are lambs to feed.

Other things to note

The local area offers some excellent restaurants and the most stunning beaches. We are in a very quiet part of the island, surrounded by farm land and sea. Local attractions include the medieval castles in Caernarfon and Beaumaris.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful, peaceful surroundings catering very much for those with mobility issues. Large tiled wet room. Special chair and bed. Beautiful garden and hosts who leave you to your own devices but happy to help where needed.

Great, friendly communication prior to arrival and wow, what a little gem of a place David and Fiona's place is, sadly we didn't get to meet Fiona. David is a really welcoming host but not intrusive at all despite living in the same grounds the cottage sits in. Beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped, cosy yet modern cottage (I am know on the hunt for a Welsh tapestry blanket!!) with all essentials to get you by should you not want to dash out to the shops and a welcoming slab of Bara Brith! The cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more for 2 couples and our 2 year old Grandson and our Son also joining us for a couple of days. The surroundings are beautiful with lovely quiet lanes to cycle and explore and the absolutely beautiful Newborough beach and Llandwynn Island close by with David providing a very handy parking permit to save on parking. The cottage sits on a small holding and David was happy to let our Grandson feed the animals, help put them to bed, feed the lambs and 'drive the tractor!' All in all perfect cottage, perfect location, perfect host, perfect holiday! Thank you so much David, Vikki & Paul XX

Fiona and I are proud owners of a small holding. We have sheep, poultry and cattle and a small cottage that we rent to visitors. We love taking our dog out on long walks by the sea and in the mountains. We have a beautiful garden which we love, and grow lots of fruit and vegetables in the vegetable garden. We love good food and wines and do most of our own cooking as we love to cook our own produce straight from the smallholding.
