Come and stay in our beautiful thatched home in the foothills of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, surrounded by open countryside and mountains with the unspoilt Mooi River running at the bottom of our sloping view site, where a genuine warm friendly welcome awaits you and nothing is too much trouble to make you comfortable. One of the benefits of running our self catering business is the pleasure we derive from meeting new people and the satisfaction from knowing that they have enjoyed their stay.
One of the best things about our guesthouse is the view. We are uniquely placed on a hill above the Mooi River where our visitors can take in the sights and sounds of the Kwazulu Natal Midlands. Not only is this a bird-lovers paradise thanks to the close proximity of a wetland but there are also a number of buck living on our property which can be seen making an appearance at certain times of the day from the thick bush below. Guests are welcome to explore the property and take a path down to and along the river.

After selling my business in Johannesburg, my wife and I moved down to this part of the country in search of a quieter, more peaceful life. We love the country life and share our beautiful home with our pets, a Great Dane, a cat and a chameleon. We also enjoy meeting new people and that's why we opened a guest house for visitors to come and share the views and lifestyle that this area has to offer. We live each day as it comes and try to make the most of every moment.
