Neighbourhood highlights

Just some things which you might like to consider doing whilst you are in the area...
Oxford is lovely particularly when the University gardens are in bloom and the buildings are superb. There are some fabulous museums to visit as well as all of the restaurants and attractions.
If you do go to Oxford then the Magdaline Arms on the Iffley Road does some wonderful food. Make sure you visit the covered market too whilst you are there!
You really should visit Goring on Thames during your stay. The Olde Leathern Bottel is a great Italian restaurant in the Thames, and if it is fully booked try the Beetle and Wedge at Mouslford, which is equally pretty and serves lovely food. George Michael and Rowan Atkinson live in Goring, plus at least one member of Pink Floyd so you never know who you may see.
There is a really friendly pub in the village which is about 5 minutes walk. They serve good beer and traditional pub food (including a good Sunday lunch menu). The Blewberry at Blewbury is about five minutes away and is a beautiful pub serving local ales and great value food.
If you fancy a trip out then Henley on Thames is lovely as is its sister town Marlow.
If you need a delivery go to justeat and you can choose from Indian, Chinese or pizza if you fancy a lazy night in!.
