Set in the picturesque rural village of Chilton in Oxfordshire, Churchill Apartment is a fully equipped self-contained property within a historic listed building. It comprises of one very large bedroom (one double and two single beds), a twin room and a bathroom with shower and bath. There is a large lounge / dining room with a fully-fitted kitchen. Unlimited super fast broadband Wi-Fi is included.
We supply all linen, arrival supplies and have laundry facilities for guests.

Interaction with guests

Our pricing includes a meet and greet service at the house and also a person on standby to solve any problems which may arise during your stay. Our rental price also includes electricity, laundry, linen, towels etc and the use of all amenities. More importantly, we want you to feel as if this is your home during your stay and would like you to feel extremely welcome.

All of the amenities are regularly checked to make sure that everything works, from the Wi-Fi to the washing machine, but should any issues arise during your stay they would be resolved immediately.

The apartment really is in a wonderful location, in a great village with some lovely surrounding towns and areas. If there is any other information you need about the area, local facilities, bars, restaurants etc. please let me know and I would be delighted to help.

There are no hidden extras or additional charges, so the price you pay is the full and final cost.

Damages, Smoking + prohibited behaviour
Any damages caused during a guest's stay should be reported immediately. The guest will be liable for any damages & any charges will be the guest's sole liability. The organiser of the holiday/stay (original booking name) warrants that guests will indemnify Chilton Apartments against all loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to the accommodation and its contents from any act or default by guests or any person or pet accompanying the guest. Smoking (or burning of candles, incense sticks or anything else with a naked flame) is strictly prohibited in the accommodation. Any smoking (or burning of candles, incense sticks or anything else with a naked flame) may invalidate the insurance policy covering the accommodation. If a Guest is found to be smoking or suspected to be smoking (or burning of candles, incense sticks or anything else with a naked flame) in the accommodation then Chilton Apartments reserves the right enter the premises at any time. We also reserve the right to ask all guests to vacate the accommodation immediately & without recompense. Should the accommodation be damaged or require any necessary deep cleaning as a result of smoke contamination then charges will apply. We also reserve the right to enter the premises at any time should we suspect any conduct deemed as anti­social, immoral, improper, or illegal and to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Remittance will not be offered in any such event. Under no circumstances are guests permitted to bring their own heating appliances as they would not have been electrically tested by Chilton Apartments. Any such usage of any electrical equipment will be deemed as a breach of these terms & conditions and we reserve the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect without recompense. In all instances we recommend that guests have adequate travel insurance and/or indemnity insurance.
Pets & the Good­housekeeping deposit
All pets are strictly prohibited. Should there be evidence that pets have been allowed in the accommodation then Chilton Apartments will deep clean the accommodation and seek recompense from the guest(s).

A lovely cottage in a quiet village with great links to the A34 and M4 nearby. Good local pubs and Didcot only a 15 minute drive away for access to trains to Oxford and London. Loads of space in the cottage with good cooking facilities and excellent broadband connection. A great find for anyone needing to stay near Harwell or for a good base to explore the Cotswolds and Ridgeway walking and cycling routes. The host Michael has gone out of his way to help us!

I had a very comfortable stay in Churchill apartment; the kitchen was very well equipped and the Wi-Fi was great. Mike is a great host - he greeted me on arrival and supplied a handful of groceries such as milk and bread, which was very thoughtful. Perfect location for working at the nearby Harwell campus. I would recommend!

Great little place to just chill out after work. We used the apartment as a base for work nearby. Perfect with having the A34 nearby. It had everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable and cosy place.

We had a wonderful little break away from London in Mike's apartment. Everything was exactly as promised and more. Mike was an excellent host, he is such a friendly man. He also left a couple of essential groceries which was extremely helpful. Once the roadworks to get you to Oxford quickly is completed, it will be perfect for getting to and from Oxford in 20minutes, but regardless, we had a wonderful stay.
