In the heart of the old bourgeois part of Bucharest you can find a welcoming home with decorative unique 100 years old fireplaces where artists used to hang out. In between Pubs and Cafes, 10 min away from the University square, cozy and friendly.

The space

This old elegant apartment is 10 minutes away from the University square and the City Center of Bucharest. The area is known since 200 years ago as a party-zone for local artists and philosophers.

The house is built in the urban Romanian architectural style of the 1950s, inspired from the 1800s.

The area is surrounded by hidden Cafes, mainly known by the locals, with romantic specific. You will find a list of Cafes and Gardens worth visiting ;).

Guest access

You will have access the whole 60 square meters apartment. Bedroom and bathroom are all yours (separated by the rest of the house through a door, with a small hallway). The kitchen is shared
(thus the "shared room policy") and access to the kitchen is done through a door in the living room. You have full, unlimited access to the living room, which is basically an elegant hang-out place by the beautiful white fireplace. Mind that the living room is only a pass-way to the kitchen, that is why it is marked as shared, otherwise it's all yours.
You can enjoy the kitchen as well, just mind that it is the only shared space between two apartments and you should clean up after using it.

Interaction with guests

At request we can provide travel consultancy (what to visit, secrets of Bucharest, guided tours).

Other things to note

You can admire the classical 18th century original fire place.

I enjoyed staying at Ana's place; although short, communication with hosts was great; I highly recommend it.

Staying at Ana’s apartment was a lovely experience. The apartment is spacious and the bed was amazing. Ana and her boyfriend fed me lunch upon my arrival and they made me feel very welcome in their city. I was driving a big SUV and I never had trouble finding parking on the street.

The apartment is located quite centrally and in walking distance to the old town. Everything in the apartment is neat and conveys a warm and cozy atmosphere and it is indeed a 'chic' place to stay in Bucharest and serves all your needs. The pictures of the apartment resemble exactly what you'll find and concerning the arrival/departure procedure the host undertook everything necessary to avoid any delay when checking-in. Ana's hints concerning places to visit, eat and stay in the evening hours are valuable information aside the stuff you find anyway on the internet and in a travel blogs. People sensitive to noise should be aware that the place is adjacent to a particularly in daytime busy road but that didn't bother me at all even without using ear plugs. I highly recommend this place if you want or need to stay in Bucharest!
