This is a beautifully restored old methodist chapel moved from another country town on to this site in the 1970's. Many hours have been spent on the planning and making this place to stay, a very special experience.

My neighbourhood in a country town is friendly and relaxed. It is quiet and relaxed with a mixture of very old and very new architecture. Walking is a pleasure, which can take you into the village or back into the rural area. There is a racecourse with racehorses training every day, which is a particular favourite for me.

I have visited and travelled Australia and I have seen a great deal of our wonderful country. I Love the arts and crafts. I have a quaint cottage I live in with a very lovely studio (old chapel) on the same block. Longford is a small community, but country people are friendly and I enjoy meeting people. All the guests who have stayed in the chapel have loved it, you only have to read the reviews. My garden has become my main pastime now, and if you come to stay, you will see why.

During your stay

I like to greet them and show them where they are staying. As I spend a lot of time in my garden, I do see them as they come and go. Interaction depends on them, if they prefer to keep to themselves, I respect that.
