The space
Settle into the slower pace of Maine at our cozy Fryeburg retreat, where the days are yours to fill with adventure or absolutely nothing at all. Located in a peaceful rural neighborhood with shared lake and beach access, the home is surrounded by quiet dirt roads, woods, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable three-bedroom home designed for relaxing together. Spend a rainy afternoon playing games, working on a puzzle, listening to records, or curling up by the wood stove. When the weather cooperates, move outside for morning coffee on the screened porch, dinner on the deck, or an evening around the fire.

Fryeburg makes a wonderful home base year-round. Come for colorful fall foliage, hiking and biking, or return in winter for skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cozy nights in. Summer brings kayaking, lake days, river tubing, and long evenings outdoors.

We’re happy to welcome up to two dogs, making it easier to bring everyone along. Beach gear, kayaks, outdoor equipment, games, books, and other little extras are provided to make your stay feel easy and relaxed.

This isn’t a place to come for nonstop WiFi or a packed resort schedule—it’s a place to step away from the noise, spend time together, and enjoy the beauty of western Maine.

You have access to the entire property with the following exclusion: The one car garage is currently locked for owners storage. One closet in the upstairs full bedroom is being used for owners storage.

Other things to note
**In the event of severe weather, a power outage is possible. Flashlights and extra batteries available, wood stove can be used for heat.

Family friendly neighborhood in the Kimball Lake Shores community. Shared beach/lake access. Canoes/kayaks on beach are not for shared use. Feel free to bring your own or let us know if you’d like access to our two 10ft kayaks. Open field for use by community members and their guests. Please be respectful of the neighbors and any posted signage dictating rules of the association.

My husband and I both grew up vacationing in the White Mountains. We still enjoy bringing our own family here year after year to experience all the old and new attractions. We love camping, hiking, and finding new spots to explore.
