About this listing

Stay comfortably in this sunny apartment, located in the heart of BedStuy. This very quiet room with a queen sized bed has a beautiful northern exposure and measures 12' X 13'. Includes kitchen, large living room, bathroom and roof with great view.

The space

This is a beautiful, large bedroom in the heart of the historic Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. This rowhouse sits on a beautiful tree-lined block of picturesque Brooklyn brownstones.

The living room, or common area, has large bay-windows with a southern exposure, and the light in the morning is really quite lovely. The bedroom's window, a northern exposure, makes for great soft light in the afternoon. It is compete with original details, built in shelving unit, tin ceilings and crown molding. All rooms have original pre-war wood floors.

The neighborhood is classically Brooklyn; with parks, basketball courts and plenty of trees. You will be within walking distance of the (A) and (C) lines, as well as the (G). The B43 and B26 buses stop right by the apartment. Wine shops, bakeries, bodegas and the Zagat-approved Saraghina are all within a three block radius.

You will be sharing the apartment with two individuals; one a creative that works nights managing a venue, the other a web-developer. Both work from home during the day and are close friends, who I can confidently say are wonderful people and great roommates. There is also a friendly and playful cat.

Guest access

Guest will have access to our kitchen, our large and sunny living room, and the roof on the top floor, which has a wonderful view of the city. In the room there is shelving available for guest use.

Interaction with guests

I will be away and traveling while you are a guest here, but feel free to get in touch with me should you have any questions or need anything.

Other things to note

The building was built in 1910 and retains some really beautiful characteristics. The floors are original, as well as much of the crown moulding and ceilings.

Nice and cosy NYC apparent, kinda tight but I must say that my first Airbnb experience was a pleasant one thanks to Andrew who had it all ready for me, roommate Britton is friendly and laid back and was there to answer my questions when I needed. I highly recommend this listing for a few nights stay.

Even though Andrew wasn't at home him self during my stay his friends took very good care of me. The neighborhood is nice and beautiful but nothing for those who like completely quiet nights. It was close to the the train station and the C-line takes you to lower Manhattan in just 15 minutes. If you like it super tidy this place is nothing for you. But if you just want to stay in a cheap, comfy place with nice hosts I truly recommend Adrews place!

Andrew was a great host. He wrote me everything that i need to know before i arrived. His room was big enough and clean. The house is exactly the same as at the pictures. I stayed 15 days and never had a problem with the house. Andrew's home mates are great guys too. They helped me a lot.I felt like at home all the time that i spent there. Looking forward to see them again.
