We stayed a long weekend with our 10 year old sleeping in the living room outside on a fold up bed Yuna provided. Yuna was responsive and provided a good service delivering extra blankets when needed. The place was the most affordable place I could find in NYC for the weekend so it's not going to surprise anyone that the place was a bit run down and small. Also the location is great for subway options (although it still takes 45-60 mins to get into Manhattan) but in the area itself you won't find much to do. It took ages to find a decent convenience store which we did eventually a couple of blocks away. However the main issue we had with the place is Friday and Saturday nights were very noisy. There is a Latino bar/restaurant downstairs blaring out music till the early hours and there was a loud house party the Friday night upstairs. The apartment also passes on all sounds like the water running upstairs. Our 10yr old had trouble sleeping with all the noise going on. Overall I would recommend this as a budget option for anyone who doesn't mind a 45-60 minute commute to Manhattan but if you can afford more I would stay in another area closer to the city and with more going on around the apartment.

Response from Yuna:
Hi David. I'm not sure where in Manhattan you were going, but if it was downtown or midtown it only takes 25-30 minutes (could be 45+ if going much more uptown). True our building is not the newest, though we've tried to make it homey and comfortable as best we could. Overall I'm glad you found it suitable for your needs and budget.

Good price per value. Small, clean apartment, great for 2-3 adults exploring the city. Closest working subway was 10 min walk (Dekalb). 10 min to Williamsburg, 20 to lower Manhattan. Small shops and few restaurants are in the area, but I would suggest to for dinner to Williamsburg.

Loved this place. Comfortable bed, nice living space with a chrome cast, great kitchen with a gas stove. Me and my friend found it very easy to take the subway to the city everyday. Very clean! Yuna made sure we had what we needed. Would stay here again!
