Description

The space

Get depressed in the dark? Forget it! Their is more sun and light in this apartment than in any rooftop. Your surrounded by green, humming birds, and sky.

The apartment floats inside the branches of Mexico City's most famous tree, the Jacaranda, and blooms gorgeous purple flowers in March and April, we guarantee they will wake you up with a smile!

Go for a jog or a beautiful walk in the oldest park in America, home to kings and presidents, 5 min away! Inside besides an amazing Castle, theirs the Modern Art Museum, the National Zoo, Anthropological Museum, Natural History Museum, or if your in a funny mood, float on the row boats for a comical but beautiful afternoon!

Like to cook? The kitchen is perfect and well equiped, besides supermarket and deli's are 2 min walk away with great wine, bread, vegetables and all sorts of supply options at a non touristic price, and great option if your tired of the more than 50 restaurants in the area.

The tourist bus (turibus) stops 4 blocks away if your in a touristy mood too.

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. Very satisfied overall. The only issue was that it was hard to arrange a check in time because Salvador didn't check the messages I sent through the Airbnb app in the 2 days leading up to our trip. Schedule way ahead of time to be safe!

A beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood. Waking up with sunlight streaming in through the jacaranda tree was delightful as promised. One quirk that we wanted to help explain for others: the stairwell comes up into the living room, so it is technically accessible to the other people living in the building - but the room is yours and not a common space. We were not disturbed by anyone. Also, the bedroom has a lock, and the building itself has a locking door as well as a locking gate, so we felt secure. As far as the location, we had easy access to everything we needed as first-time visitors to Mexico City (who spoke very little Spanish!). We would absolutely stay here again. We had a bit of trouble reaching Salvador to let us into the apartment when we arrived, but he was very apologetic and made sure to fix the situation as soon as we were able to connect. (This is probably obvious advice for any Airbnb trip, but I'd recommend getting in touch with your host the day before to confirm arrival plans.)

We LOVED our stay in Salvador place! The walls made out of glass doors gives a fantastic indoor/outdoor space and the blooming tree is the best view to wake up! The location was perfect as you can walk to all attractions, restaurants and supermarket. We would stay there again without hesitation and we recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico city!

The Treehouse was spectacular--so light and airy, as if we were living in a cloud (or inside the jacaranda tree, which was just coming into beautiful periwinkle bloom during our late Feb/early March visit). And the plant-tree-and-flower-packed terrace is glorious. The location is amazing, and Salvador went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and clean, with two full cleanings during our week in residence. All in all, could not recommend more highly.

I am an industrial designer that makes a living by designing museum exhibits and underwater installations! Yeah I know, in a city! Well can't do the diving all the time since museums are my passion!
