The space

My seaside home is situated at the end of a tree-lined drive, 5 mins walk from Bembridge village centre & beaches.
The space is a brand new immaculate conversion, offering a studio style double bedroom with upstairs gallery area with 2 single mattress beds suitable for older kids (restricted head height into the eaves)
The sitting room has a double sofa, additional seating and coffee table. There are NO cooking facilities, but there is a kettle for tea and coffee, a toaster and fridge.
Wine+water glasses, coffee cups, knives+forks, plates, milk, tea, coffee and sugar provided.
There is a shower room with toilet and basin off the sitting area.
Towels provided.
This would be ideal for a short breaks from 1 -7 nights when visiting relatives or friends on the Isle of Wight over Bank Holidays, school holidays, special occasions such as an Island wedding or a walking or cycling weekend. Or as an overflow space when your Island relatives' house is full...
Parking is free on the road leading to our drive.
There is an additional option of separate B&B space in my main house and/or poolside hut by request if I don't have family or guests staying with me.

Guest access

Access is directly from my gravelled front drive through the double doors of the sitting room.
There is a small sunny seating area at the decked entrance to the annexe which overlooks the driveway.

Interaction with guests

If I am around, I am able to offer English breakfast sometimes as an extra option, on request, at an additional cost (£5 per head). This would be with me in the main house or my garden ( according to the time of year and if I am around)

With respect!
Hopefully as you would treat your own home...
My annexe is not really suitable for children under 6 years old, as the kids' beds are on the gallery area up the stairs, and I would worry about the stairs in the night. But obviously each child differs.
Please feel free to ask me any further questions when you are booking
Thanks x

High quality accommodation. Only drawback is washing up in the bathroom. Ceril made us very welcome

Response from Ceril:
Re: washing up. The alternative option of disposable paper plates and bowls are available too in the annexe, as I am aware of the limitations of washing up in the bathroom basin. When I am in my home, I am very happy to put any used mugs into my own dishwasher and replace daily with clean ones. There should not have to be too much washing up as there are no cooking facilities, only a toaster and kettle......

Great host, great accommodation and wonderful location. Very peaceful. Can walk easily to the beach and also to the local shops which include fishmonger, butcher, greengrocer, a tea shop, a few restaurants and nice present shops. We waked for miles around Bembridge and discovered the coastal walks & pretty paths around Bembridge. If you want to go further afield there are masses of places to visit. Would recommend Osborne House, Quarr Abbey and the Garlic Farm and the beaches are great too. Higly recommended.

Lovely little annex! As described and a perfect base for exploring the island. Cheryl was also a great host and made sure we happy Dustin our stay. Perfect for the two of us, could imagine four adults being a bit tight.
