/We were welcome with grace. The manager checked up on us, if we needed anything.

I wanted to love this place but that could not happen. I liked the space, decor, and coziness. The building manager was nice. What I absolutely could NOT stand was the location. Here's my list of what I detested: - NO PARKING! I got a city pass $20 and still got a $40 ticket!! - It took 30 minutes driving in endless circles to find parking on Saturday night. This alone made me stay inside more than I planned to because I didn't want to deal with this nightmare parking situation. - Shower was filled with mold/mildew. Was not clean at all. Keep a bottle of Tilex handy when you have a tile bath. - Only one tiny trashcan for the whole place? I had to buy my own 13-gal bags to use for the stay. - The bed is too firm for my liking. Gel foam mattress cover would resolve this. - Used sponge to clean with? Really? Germs anybody? I bought paper towels and used those to clean. - The hallway leading to the apt smelled all the time Like stale air mixed with cigarette smoke and pungent food scent. I held my breath each time I entered/exited the apt. - LOUD!! All the time loud!! - From the trains that were just feet away that ran all day and all night, to the live band that played until after 2 am on the weekend to the constant honking of horns and people yelling on the street. - There is also a store right below the apt that plays loud music all day and night. It was blaring loud! **Because of the noise, we did not get any sleep and it ruined our weekend plans. My fiance and I found ourselves so angry that we contemplated checking out early but we stayed because I had already paid for the week. My advice if you are thinking of staying here is the following: 1) Use Uber, Lyft, or walk. Do not rent or drive a car. NO PARKING! 2) Use earplugs all day and night. LOUD ALL THE TIME! 3) Stay someplace else really! I regretted this decision to stay here. I wish I could get my money back. This honestly ruined what could have been an awesome trip. I would not return even if I was paid to do so. I wish I could rate stars.

Our overall experience was both good and not so good. The good...place was very clean and most items were brand new. The pictures showed a true reflection of the unit...again, very liveable and comfortable. Nicks "agent" Marius, was very kind and responsive. We had some front door key issues, but that got resolved. The location was really great, lots of restaurants and shops to walk to. The not so good was really out of Nicks control, as trains sped through on occasion throughout the night, and on the weekends, some nearby restaurants blasted music until 3 am....and we could hear it unfortunately. If you are a heavy sleeper or able to go back to sleep quickly after being woken up, then it shouldn't be an issue.
