The space

In the center of the island Krk, surrounded by beautiful greenery and peace lies this brand new luxury stone villa, named "Kamenica", with total area of more than 300 square meters. It is placed on a land area (plot) of 950 square meters. The entire interior of the house is paved with well-known Istrian stone and equipped with top quality furniture. In the basement there is a wellness with sauna, indoor swimming pool with counter current swimming and massage benches, toilet and shower. In the ground floor is a kitchen with large living room of 70 sqm, equipped with billiard table and darts. Outside is a large terrace with barbecue, where you can spend a romantic evening at sunset. From the terrace, You can enter directly into the large 55 sqm swimming pool with massage benches and swimming against the current. On the top floor there are three bedrooms, each bedroom has its own fully equipped bathroom. By the pool there is a playground equipped with various props for children's play. In the garden there is a fitness room for those people who like to be in good shape. The villa offers a peaceful holiday in first class and yet you are only 5 minutes to the beach and plenty of attractions offered by the island of Krk.

On the south-west coast of the island of Krk, the Mediterranean island closest to Europe, lies the town of Krk - "the glorious city of Krk", as mentioned in an ancient inscription found in this town. It’’s easy to reach Krk. The island is connected with the mainland by bridge, there's an international airport on the island and there are good ferry boat links with the neighboring islands of Cres, Losšinj and Rab. Nature was generous, gifting the island and its namesake economic and cultural center. Krk with a mild Mediterranean climate inspiring landscape and a string of picturesque pebbly beaches hidden in the shade of holm-oak trees. The friendly and hospitable townspeople the lively and temperamental summers as well as the gentle quietude of winter, wish you a whole-hearted welcome. The old town of Krk has preserved its appearance and character since ancient times. For more than two thousand years life has been going on within the same town walls on the same streets and streets and squares, in the same houses, in the town churches and chapels, and within the Bishop's Residence. The whole town is a monument that stands in honor of life, culture, persistence, and love for the land, sea and stone. The beauty of the narrow cobbled streets is unfading, coats-of arms of patrician families of the past still stand proudly over stone door-frames, the angel decorating the top of the unique Krk Cathedral shows the direction of the wind to seamen of today as it did to those of ancient times. Roman baths with fragments of floor mosaics, defense walls with foundations from all contribute to Krk's rich pre-Roman times, amphorae in the underwater world, Glagolitic inscriptions that bear witness to the culture, traditions and literacy of the past, churches and monasteries heritage.

The most influential and renowned Croatian counts lived in the town of Krk and ruled from here. Thus, Krk was like a jewel in the crown for the powerful Venetian Republic. A town landmark is the sixth century Krk Cathedral, renovated and expanded throughout the centuries, with its elegant arches and capitals and priceless altar pieces such as the Frankopan silver relief. Adjoining the Cathedral is the exceptional church of St. Quirinus, a fine example of Romanesque architecture, also known as the only church in our country that has a ground and first floor. Visitors can admire the 13th century Fankopan fortification with its towers, situated right at the seafront; not to be missed are also the 11th century Romanesque Church of Our Lady and the Town Hall dating from the 16th century. Monastery atriums fortified stone walls, Romanesque arches of St. Margaret's crypt and marble amboss of the Cathedral present unique scenery for first-class artistic performances that take place during the summer months as part of the Krk Summer Festival, one of the oldest of the kind in Croatia.

Getting around

Island of Krk is the biggest pearl in the necklace of about thousand island of the Croatian Adriatic coast. It is a pearl that change its beauty of colors in uncontaminated scenery and crystal sea.
The island of Krk is connected with the mainland by bridge, have an airport (URL HIDDEN) where are arriving an international flights (each day during the tourist season). It is situated about 30 km from Rijeka, where daily (also a few times a day) are leaving the buses and trains for Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary and etc. As an example, there are four buses during the day for Trieste (Italy). Numerous connections with the continental part of Croatia, good facilities of touristic structures, indented coast, rich of bays, small coves and crystal sea, fascinating scenery and numerous occasions of amusement are the reasons that KRK is one of the most requested and frequented destinations.

· Cleaning fee (cleaning, pool maintenance, garden maintenance) 80 Euros.
· Villa Kamenica has five (5) stars according to Croatian Touristic Standards, and it is one of most luxuries Villas on island Krk.
