Get close to the nature and enjoy the tranquility of our newly built (2023) guesthouse. The guesthouse is located on the same property as the main house that also rented out.

The property offers a private beach with jetty for swimming, and wood-fired sauna right on the lake. The forest is outside the step so is good for the mushroom and berry picker. The lake also offers good fishing for the interested (perch, pike and zander) - or why not canoeing.

The space
Welcome to stay in our guesthouse that has a sleeping loft with a double bed (140 cm) and a sofa bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities to be able to handle cooking (also salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea etc).

In the guesthouse there is also a small corner with gym equipment for those who want the opportunity to exercise during their stay.

Guests also have access to most major streaming services (e.g. Netflix, HBO Max, Prime, TV4 Play with Sport package).

Guests have access to our own beach and the wood-fired sauna right by Lake Eckern.

In summer, guests will also have access to a smaller boat with an electric motor as well as a canoe.

In winter, it is hopefully possible to go skating, cross country skiing and walking on the lake if the ice location allows.

Laundry room is available to borrow in the same building.

Electric car chargers are available at cost.

The nearest town is Taberg (about 7 km) and offers, among other things, two grocery stores, a cozy cafe and pizzeria. Take the summer time to take a guided tour of the famous Taberg Mine or enjoy the view from the Taberg stop.

To Jönköping it is about 20 km. Jönköping is also nice in the summer and offers a large selection of restaurants, swimming and entertainment.

In less than an hour you also reach Isaberg Mountain Resort which offers activities both summer and winter time (including skiing).

Guests have full access to the entire home and private patio. Parts of the outdoor environment can be shared with guests staying in the main building, this also includes the sauna. Laundry room is shared.

Your housebroken dog is welcome with us, but it's your responsibility that the place doesn't get any extra dirty because of your dog. For example, please bring a blanket for your dog to lie on if it is used to laying on sofa/bed so furniture doesn't get ruined by your dog. Please be respectful of the guests coming after you. 🐾
