Beautiful , quiet country location. Close to Tenderton and Ashford, and only half hour from Folkstone. Lovely cosy converted stable in a private setting- we weren't overlooked, and felt able to relax very easily -surprisingly roomy, nice and clean, cosy, very homely, heating and hot water works well and made it snuggly. Kitchen was well furnished with plenty of pots, pans, oven dishes,cutlery,plates,cups/glasses, cafitiere, etc. There was a large selection of fruit/herbal teas, regular tea, freshly ground coffee, and the hosts even left a lovely selection in the fridge for us of essentials to get us started, which we really did not expect, especially as it was such good value to stay anyway; lovely little touches and attention to detail. There was even a barbecue out on our private little terrace, along with two sun loungers,a little table and chairs, all overlooking a pond, and the chickens , cockerels and geese. The friendly animals really made our stay- loved waking up to the animals outside our door! And their lovely cat visited us and made a fuss of us,too. We really didn't want to go home, and would love to come back again soon. And we want to see the animals again as we will miss them! Our stay was much better than we could've expected- and we felt happier and more relaxed than we have had on previous stays at hotels, with much better value for money, and was better all round. Our 3 night stay felt like it was a week,as we were so much more relaxed. And checkout was unhurried, too. Our hosts were so lovely- a kind, friendly, genuine couple who made us feel at ease, often checked to see if we needed anything- they really did seem to have thought of everything. We would love to come back again soon, and would highly recommend this lovely place.

Peaceful retreat in cosy. converted stable. Vivienne was very friendly and helpful and provided generous quantities of food for us. Geese, chickens, one guinea fowl and one duck were fun to watch and Legge Farm is a perfect rural locality from which to explore Romney Marsh and the Weald. Highly recommended.

Thank you again for choosing to stay here at Legge, and for your very kind comments. I'm so glad that the surrounding animals did not disturb you too much, and for your general understanding of temporary problems associated with a rural retreat !

We had a lovely stay at Legge Farm. Vivienne and Bill were very kind and helpful. A lovely peaceful location with lots to do in the surrounding area. We loved the chickens, geese and ducks running around. The breakfast supplies were amazing. We would highly recommend and will return as soon as we can. Thanks so much Vivienne

Vivienne was the perfect host. From the first point of communication, to directions it was so easy and straight forward. Vivienne was so kind to provide the essentials for our arrival, and breakfast goodies in the barn. A beautiful location with lovely restaurants a few miles away. Will be coming back for sure!!

Vivienne was an attentive but unobtrusive host. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and the provision of fresh fruit and breakfast items was extremely welcome. The location was also perfect, quiet and peaceful yet only a short drive away from towns such as Appledore, Tenterden and (our favourite) Rye. Vivienne's tips on where to visit, etc. were most welcome.

I am happy living in the country and have made my own study of all things rural. I have traveled extensively and have experienced staying in Luxury Holels throughout Europe and around the world.
My husband Bill is an Argentine born writer and private pilot.
I really love the idea of sharing the location of Legge Farm with my Airbnb guests.
I also aim to provide that little bit of extra attention that hopefully will make my guests feel special. I welcome comments and any advice that will improve my service.
