The space
The 40sqm apartment was completely renovated at the end of 2023 and equipped with numerous new furniture that complements the historical structure.

The kitchen-living room, which has wood paneling along the window side, was once the private dining room of the Straubinger hotelier dynasty, which shaped Bad Gastein for centuries. With a height of over 3.5 m, the room still exudes an imperial flair.

The newly installed kitchenette has a ceramic hob with 4 hotplates, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave, as well as a basic range of various kitchen appliances and spices.

The dining table with 6 chairs, which dates from the late 1920s, is extendable and corresponds to the historical ambience of the room.

Opposite this is a modern, cozy seating area with a pull-out sofa with a sleeping function.
A television mounted on a three-legged “easel” and a WLAN Internet connection complement the equipment in the kitchen-living room.

The small, functionally furnished bathroom is a spatially separate area from the kitchen-living room.

The 8 sqm bedroom was designed by interior designers and custom-made by carpenters. Underfloor heating ensures a comfortable room temperature even in winter. The two double beds measuring 180 x 200 centimeters are located one above the other. The loft bed can be reached with a ladder hanging on the wall. The distance from the upper floor to the ceiling is around 110 centimeters (comfortable seating height).

In front of the apartment there is a hallway shared with two other apartments. Ski clothes can be hung up there and ski boots can be stored there. The house's ski stable is also located on the same floor.
