Wayne was an extremely friendly host. When I first arrived, he welcomed me from outside the bar and gave me a short tour of the amenities that I could have access to. This included my personal locker, a mini bar where I could make drinks (there was coffee and tea provided) and a shower which was not spacious but was generally quite clean. There were a few guests living at the same time, but I had totally no problem using the shower whenever I wanted to.The room was really warm at night for a comfortable sleep. I was lucky that no one else was staying in the room at the same time as me,so I could have the whole room to myself.
Furthermore, Wayne also provided me with a map of the London with major attractions and gave me advice on cheap and nice eating places in the vicinity. At night, Wayne also took care to turn down the music so that it would be conducive for sleeping. Every morning, there would also be breakfast of toast with jam or butter and a variety of cereal as well as a nice selection of hot and cold beverages to choose from. Wayne would always be present for a small chat and his dog is really active and friendly to strangers.
I was initially a little skeptical of the comfort and safety of the area (due to some of the reviews). But after staying for 3 nights, I have to say that while it is not the most spacious place, it is definitely a comfortable, accessible and affordable place that is worth its money.
