It has its own private deck with directors chairs and dining table accessible from the lounge/kitchenette as well as bedroom area to enjoy drinks or a home prepared meal. It boasts a twin bedded bedroom with an on-suite bathroom with shower.

The space
Each studio is located within our expansive gardens and with the emphasis on privacy and unobstructed sea views.

All Studios, comprise of an air-conditioned twin-bedded bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet and a kitchenette equipped with the necessary items to prepare a quick meal and a fridge to keep your drinks cool.

The Studios all units have private balconies and a second outside seating area for you to relax on or have a quiet meal.

Guest access
Villa Athena's Studios all have private entrances and direct access from the lovely gardens. There are free parking available for your car or scooter.

During your stay
Owner and host - Karen Geldenhuys stays on the property and is available to assist you with ideas on where to go, which beaches to go for a swim or which are the best restaurants to dine at as well as what to do on this beautiful island in the Sporades.

We offer a complimentary concierge service to assist you with bookings of taxi, restaurants, car rental, movie tickets and more.

If it's the best table with a view in a Skiathos Town restaurant you're after or tickets for the open air Mamma Mia movie screening - we'll do it all for you ! We have a Whats-App line to communicate with guests throughout their stay at Villa Athena.

Just as with my travels I prefer to experience new places to dine and is always on the lookout for new places to tantalise my tastebuds. Ask me where to dine and what wines to drink and I could keep you occupied on end with new places places that will surely excite your tastebuds! Summer is my favourite season and what a better place to experience summer than in Cape Town. I love the open air music shows in Kirstenbosch gardens, long walks on the beach, drinking a glass of wine on a sunny day, eating fresh fish and chips and dipping into the ice cold Atlantic ocean. Winter in the Cape is time for hearty food, red wine and fireplaces for me. I usually link my days with excursions to wine farms and taste some of the Capes best wines. Whatever it is you are looking for, ask me to inspire you with ideas to spice up your trip to Cape Town!
