Description

The space

My apartment is a lovely two-bedroom on the 6th floor and has a spectacular view of the city.
The house is built in 1930.
Apartment right in the center of City, walking distance to many attractions.
Feel free to browse through the pictures to get a better idea, but here's a quick description:
My home is steps away from Deak square, which is the center, a neighborhood packed with delicious restaurants, fun bars and relaxing cafes, design stores, and even a beautifully restored Dohány Street Synagogue (Hungarian: Dohány utcai zsinagóga/nagy zsinagóga, Hebrew: בית הכנסת הגדול של בודפשט‎‎ Bet ha-Knesset ha-Gadol shel Budapesht), also known as The Great Synagogue or Tabakgasse Synagogue, which is a historical building and the largest synagogue in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

Get an authentic and lively feel of Budapest by nesting yourself in 7th district for a stay you'll never forget for all the right reasons.

A homely home is a great place to feel welcome in Budapest for an awesome stay. The space is long with high ceilings, well-lit with natural sunlight from the south sides, fully furnished fabulous and spacey kitchen (cooker, oven, refrigerator, kettle, dishwasher, coffee grinder, moka pot (small machine), dining area (big table), air conditioning, shower, WIFI, (super) king-sized bed, two toilet, and secondary couch/bed.
Situated on the main avenue Karoly, transportation to other parts of the city are highly accessible and quick both by underground (metro), bus & taxi, as well as a bike path along the avenue (that runs continuous to Andrassy street, where other touristy sights begin). Well lit streets and populated at all times make for a pleasant walking experience.

The neighbourhood

Genuine Budapest neighborhood: generations of families. Authentic cuisine at great prices. Walking distance from many tourist attractions. Lots of public transit options. This is absolutely the center of Budapest, 7th district. The Great Synagogue or Tabakgasse Synagogue, which is a historical building and the largest synagogue, Szimpla (Szimpla Kert - Simple Garden) is the pioneer of our ruinpubs. It is really a cult place giving new trends. Undoubtedly the best known ruinpub among the locals and the tourists, as well. Gozsdu udvar is now all bright and filled up to the brim with luxury homes, cafés, restaurants, plus loads of fancy bars. Clearly the new place to be seen at night these days! The Jewish Quarter's busiest and rather narrow lane bears the name Kazinczy Street since 1897, and connects Király Street and Rákóczi Street. Here, you find the Art Nouveau-style Kazinczy Street Synagogue and the Museum of Electrical Engineering, since then, the street is home to street food places like El Rapido Taqueira and Soul Food, but traditional Jewish cuisine also makes its appearance in a classic restaurant environment, like in Macesz Bistro. There is also a swarm of small taverns, ruin pubs, and clubs along Kazinczy Street: Kocka, Ellátó Kert, Mika Tivadar Mulatót. Special events and street parties are also common here.

Getting around

Lots of buses, tram, trolley and underground (M1, M2, M3 lines) in every direction. Bike lanes in the streets.

Other things to note

A historically neighborhood with a variety of Hungarian culture, you can conveniently find delicious cuisine just a few short blocks in any direction.

I had an absolute fantastic stay in Regina's appartment. It is situated in the very heart of vivid Pest, with a magnificant view over the city. The apartment is very comfortable, atmospheric, clean and well-equiped. Regina is a great, cooperative and open-minded host. She responses very kindly and quickly to all your emails and questions. On arrival she makes you immediately feel at home. I highly recommend Regina's appartment for an even more complete stay in the wonderful city of Boedapest!! Rogier Sonneveldt (the Netherlands)

We spent 8 wonderful days at Regina's appartement and it is absolutely recommendable! The check-in and -out has been flexible and Regina was already waiting for us or right upon time to grab the keys. The rooms are very spacious and clean, in terms of equipment absolutely nothing was missing. One can really feel at home here and not as a stranger. The view from the balcony is incredible, as you can see the Citadelle, the castle, and the fishermen's bastion, which are enlighted by night. The location of the flat is in the very central part of downtown, so public transportation, grocery stores, shopping, and most of the sights are right there in near walking distance. A TV was not needed, the place is attractive itself. We would recommendable this place to our friend and make sure we visit again :)

Regina's apartment is amazing, and super-well equipped with everything we needed. Regina waited for us to hand over the keys the night we arrived, and picked them up the morning we had to leave, she was super flexible and could easily be reached via email if we had questions during our stay. Regina has also been very friendly and helpful providing a great list of recommended venues in the neighbourhood. Next time I'll go to Budapest, I'll definitely try to rent her place again! And I wish her all the best with everything.

Regina was a perfect host, and the place was absolutely incredible. We arrived at sunset, which, from the balcony, is a sight to behold, setting over one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The apartment was perfect; comfortable, central to everything, and convenient. I would definitely stay again the next time in Budapest.

The listing was very accurate. The apartment is directly in the city center and for sure you can't have a better view on the city than this. Regina was replying to emails immediately. The pickup and drop off of keys was very easy. We had a wonderful time in the apartment. Can only highly recommend the place.

Hi, my name is Regina Boros, I am from Budapest, Hungary.
I know my apartment is special, and fit for special guests who want something different with style, and not a hotelroom.
I am host since January 2016 and i really enjoy it. I try to do my best to give great service and experience to my guests during their staying.
I love music like Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Joy Division, New Order but i prefer jazz and swing music as well.
My favourite writer is Paul Auster and Haruki Murakami.
I love New York, Brooklyn but Amsterdam and Barcelona are also my favourite places. I used to live in Spain for 3 years (2006-2009).
I'm working now as a "growth hacker" (marketing and communication expert) at OXO Labs ((URL HIDDEN) with startup companies. I also work for a Hungarian startup Yummber ((URL HIDDEN) which is a service like Uber but for food (it connects host and guests for real home food).
