Gail is an amazing host! My flight kept getting delayed and diverted before I finally got to Boston, but she has been very patient and flexible. I can't appreciate her enough for providing a sweet and comfortable home for me after a long day travel. The public transportation is very convenient as well. Will stay again!!!

This is a very nice basement apartment about 20 minutes from downtown Boston. There is ample street parking. We were fine with 2 vehicles as my wife and I had to arrive at different times. The apartment itself is very comfortable and filled with interesting decor. The kitchen has everything you need for meals including spices and condiments. Gail is an absolute dear and very eager to accommodate. We plan on using her apartment in the future when we stay in Boston.

Gail's home is as described. It is unique and in the basement of an older town home. You need to walk through Gail's main floor to enter the unit. Gail is very friendly and helpful. Gail provided useful information for us upon our arrival regarding how to get to the subway, street car and provided tourist information brochures and maps. The tv only received 1 channel and Gail was to look into resolving this.

Good size apartment for two people looking to explore Boston in a couple days. The Jamaica Plain neighborhood is full of parks, restaurants and public transit for downtown city access. Gail was very easy to communicate with and even allowed us to check in early. She has a great knowledge of the surrounding area and good restaurant recommendations. The only downside is that older homes tend to be more noisy with neighbors above. Overall, it was a fun and comfortable stay.

Gail User ProfileGail is a superhost.

I am an early education art/science curriculum specialist, retired but now do 6 week programs in the Boston public schools. I am also a community artist who loves to do political art installations about the city. My studio is not located in the house but art projects often can be found about as well as stuff from my travels in Africa and Asia. I am a former Peace Corps volunteer who served in Mali, West Africa with my husband. We continued work on agricultural and health issues with 28 villages until his death last year. My contact with Mali continues.
