we booked an 8-person room but they gave us the 10-person private room, probably because it's off-season? which is really nice actually, the 8-person room looked pretty cramp (also you need to go through the 8p room to get to 10p room) there's a 7-11 right around the corner, and Soho mall and a huge Starbaucks on the other side so you wont have to worry about food (also the 7-11 had carbonara cheese instant noodle it was so good) they also provide free light breakfast and snacks all day. the hostel is marked on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map and it has a giant stick-out sign so it's really easy to find this place if you use uber or other driving service. generally the entire hostel feels really cozy, beds and blankets are soft and air-cond is super cold! the staff are also really friendly and helpful esp on places to visit and how to get there, definitely will consider stay here again if i ever want to come to bangkok! my only slight complain is the bathroom and sink area always smells (a little) so it's a 9/10 for me

Decent place but no privacy as several rooms are connected together and random people can go in and out of your room. Bathroom is not that clean either. Still good location for exploring city

Tiger Lily Hostel provided a very comfortable stay for us. They maintained a clean place overall, from the lobby to the bathroom. The host, Tik, provided some useful information when asked, and the staff was very friendly whenever we come and go. Location was very strategic as we were located pretty much at the center of all the activities. The neighbourhood was quiet, and there are plenty of food options to walk to if you have a sudden hunger.

The hostel was too good. It is even better than the pictures. There is free breakfast and a host of munchies you can eat. The beds are good and rooms are clean. The common area is very good too. There's Playstation 3 to help pass time and the washrooms are well kept. We were a group of 7 people and we have never seen such thoughtful hosts. They were very helpful and assisted us in every way. We even forgot our bags while on our way back to India but the hosts sent the bags to the airport. Loved it so very much.

Out of all the accommodations that we’ve stayed in during our numerous travels, Tigerlily Hostel proves to be the BEST one. Apart from having one of the most affordable rates per bed, this hostel went over and beyond our expectations during our travel in Thailand and a first in a Hostel. First, they are located in the best place possible. Soi Yotse 3 seems to be in the heart of Bangkok wherein it is easily accessible to all the known destinations of the city: Patpong (est. 10 mins), Pratunam Night Market (est. 10-15 mins), Khaosan Road (est. 5 mins). Provinces like Ayutthaya (est. 1 hr. 40 mins), Sriracha (est. 2hrs), and the Floating Market (est. 1 hr. 30 mins) are easily accessible as well, very easy to make a day trip. For shopaholics, MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon, and Jatujak Market are all less than 30 minutes away from Tigerlily. A short walk around the block, will bring you to some of best food stalls for dinner or breakfast, giving you an authentic taste of Thai food. Second, they have very accommodating staff and are always willing to help. We were able to make friends with the owners and staff; very friendly and warm people, indeed! Despite the slight language barrier, they will go out of their way to assist you with whatever it is you need: whether it be directions to the closest attractions or a call for taxi service. They will even haggle for you to get the best price for transportation if you want a private tour. They also have a menu of tours at very affordable rates and they do the booking for you, ensuring that you won’t get charged an exorbitant amount. The tour service will even pick you up and drop you off at the hostel after. Basically, you get the most bang for your buck here. Third their facilities are impeccable. There are two toilets and showers per floor, all of which may be used at any time. More importantly, and what probably impressed us the most is that they are cleaned twice a day, making the daily and nightly routines of tourists effortless. Their beds are very comfortable as well. Lockers are also available at no extra charge for valuables or toiletries. Lastly, they have a secret garden on the top floor for anyone who wants to spend free time reading a book or chatting with their friends. Lastly, the lobby is the best place to hang out and meet new friends! We certainly spent many nights getting to know other visitors residing at the hostel. In addition, snacks, tea, coffee, and percolators are well stocked for whomever wants to have a small nibble or drink during the day or night. A simple breakfast of toast, cereal, and fresh fruit is served everyday from 8am-10am for those who want a quick bite before heading out during the day for tours. There is also a refrigerator and small kitchen that may be used...
