Everything was wonderful, and better than expected! The hosts are incredibly nice, and even made a little birthday present for my wife from their garden! Look for the cute kitty who will visit you every morning! You will love it here, we did!

This home is so comfortable and it is in an absolutely beautiful setting. We were there in early June and we used the wood burning stove each evening- so cozy! The neighbor's cows were sent up to the meadow above the house each morning; it was like a scene from Heidi! We used the house as a base for traveling out each day to Munich, Dachau, Salzburg,Berchtesgaden and Fussen. It was just perfect. Even though it was in a remote setting there were plenty of good local restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Gisela met us upon our arrival and explained everything to us. The house is just what we were looking for, quiet and in the country. All the rooms have electric heaters but we were happy to use the wood stove and wood cookstove for alternate heat. Immanuel made sure there was plenty of wood and kindling for our needs. Every morning we would wake to the sound of the neighbor moving his cows to pasture. This house is less than 10 minutes to the highway which was perfect for touring upper Bavaria. The only thing it lacks is a Hotspot for wifi but it was a nice change to be unconnected. There is a room in the town hall where you can go and get a very good connection. The town hall is also across the street from two bakeries so you can do two things at once. If you are looking for a country setting it is hard to do better than this.

My wife and I were on vacation with our 3 kids and we used Immanuel's farm house as our home base for exploring Bavaria and Salzburg. We really loved the simple rustic aesthetic of this place. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family. If you have little kids, this place had a lot of nice toys for them to play with. The fireplace was functional and stocked with wood, and we enjoyed having some evening fires. The place itself is situated on the side of a hill surrounded by other houses with little farms, it was very peaceful and picturesque. Overall this is one of the best AirBnb we have stayed in!

Living in this house is one of my most magnificent experiences. The house is cute, clean, and warm, not hard to find. We arrived very late because of some unpredicted accident. I felt sorry for not notifying Immanuel early enough so that he stayed up late and waited for us. The second morning when we arrived, Immanuel provided us with very good German bread, pretzel, jam, butter, and ham. Also, he has a plum tree and we can eat them haha. Rooms are all so nice. I would want to live here forever if I can.

Immanuel was a consummate host, allowing us to check in at any time. We pulled up into Bad Feilenbach, a picturesque Bavarian village filled with apple orchards and sleepy cows meandering by. The farmhouse is right next door to Immanuel's family and has been around since the 1700's. There are four spacious rooms with multiple beds, plenty of clean linens and towels, a wood burning stove and oven. It could comfortably fit upwards of 7 people. Immanuel left us a lovely smattering of local fare including pear juice, jam and coffee made right in town. There's a table tennis table he can set up and an awesome picnic bench outside to catch the sunrise while you eat breakfast. Immanuel even came by to say goodbye before he left for work which was very kind. Tips: No wifi so hopefully you have international data! Grocery stores are closed on Sundays but the local bakery in the main village area has delicious selections. The restaurant down the road from the house has some of the best traditional cuisine I've had since going from Austria to Germany. Chef Anna whips up Wiener schnitzel, butternut squash soup and cheesy spatezle that's all to die for. They also have a healthy selection of local brews and sturm - a young wine that's enjoyed by many locals. Highly highly recommended. To get to Munich, you can drive but we decided to park our rental car and drive from Holzkirchen which was about a 40 min drive from the house. It's a 25 min ride on the BOB speed train to Munich from there which was perfect for Oktobefest shenanigans. Thanks Immanuel for a lovely stay!

The house was absolutely charming. The small village was gorgeous with breathtaking views and the sound of cowbells as you take a meandering stroll down the path. All modern comforts of home plus old world charm. Immanuel was a perfect host - helpful and friendly. I highly recommend a visit to Beim Schaffler!
