Stay on top of the world in this private jungle home that has an amazing 3 tiered pool and hot tub plus centrally located to unlimited adventures. The view encompasses the entire outdoor space you can see Carara all the way to Manuel Antonio. 3 master suites with 9 total beds. Feels like a million miles away but only 15-20 minutes to the center of Jaco and the beaches including Hermosa and Herradura. 1 hour to Manuel Antonio National Park and 1.5 from the international airport in San Jose.
The space
This almost new construction home not only has over 4000 square feet of covered space but offers amazing outdoor living space as well. From the terraces on the upper level to the decking and pool there are breathtaking views everywhere. The pool consists of 3 distinct spaces that flow into each other. The oversized top pool is perfect for relaxing and playing, while the middle pool provides a relaxation area even when activity in the upper pool is at the maximum. The bottom pool doubles as a hot tub which can fit your entire party -- easily 12+ and can be accessed through a direct path. The interior has 3 master suites, the 2 upper being oversized and the lower having the outdoor shower. The upper bedrooms have covered terraces directly outside and given the shape of the house offer a degree of privacy. Plenty of seating to have your morning coffee or simple relax and take in the jungle. Full kitchen and open dining room including a handcrafted wood table with 8 chairs. All of the furniture with the exception of one bed was hand made in the local village of Bijigual and fits perfectly with the jungle experience. 9 total beds, including 7 in the bedrooms for sleeping comfort. 4 total air conditioning units for your comfort -- 1 in each bedroom and 1 in the common area. 5 total smart TVs -- 1 in each bedroom and 2 in the common area. Outdoor ceiling fans to enhance the natural breeze. All of the comforts one could wish for in a very private jungle location. Pure paradise.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of a portion of one of the closets in the upper bedrooms that is used for extra storage and personal items. There is still plenty of space to hang up your clothes and each bedroom has a large dresser or in the case of the lower one, ample built in cabinet space.
Other things to note
The property is in a small gated community. 4x4 is recommended. This property is only 8 miles from Jaco but it is on a dirt road that is used for ATV tours. It is 5 miles from the Adventure Park, which is the more challenging part of the road. It is slightly longer to Tarcoles but the road is better maintained and a little easier to pass. The driveway is steep and takes some getting used to. Locals get around in all types of vehicles but it is easiest with a 4x4 with decent clearance. Part of the adventure is the drive -- you see waterfalls and rivers, and the dirt road keeps this area significantly less crowded and more of a hidden gem. 2 restaurants are withing walking distance including the local treasure Rancho Shadday and its famous owner Donna Marta. The village of Bijigual is 2 miles away and offers many more options including a couple of small markets. No stay is complete without a trip to see what the village has to offer.
