We were greeted by a young man who showed us in and gave us the tour of the apartment. The apartment was as described in the photos as far as the decor and the view were concerned. But the actual apartment rented was a different one. The decor was a modern funky one.
However, the apartment was sadly in need of renting. The painted walls were dinged, the rug curled up at the edges, cushions missing on outside furniture dining chairs loose and wobbly. We did not use the kitchen but there was no dishwasher so dishes were a little dirty. Generally, the place was quite tired. Lots of beds available to it has had a rough go. We were told how to use the washing machine. All that was said was to hit the on button. Well, no. We never did get it to work. It filled, chugged around but would not drain so we had to wring our soapy clothes out by hand and hang them. The floors were not washed and the bathrooms quickly cleaned up for us, but soap dis had someone else's soap scum on it and the cup was filthy. The location was up a very steep hill. We took a cab to get back up as it was not as close as it looked with many switch backs. All in all, for what we paid, we should have stayed in a hotel with proper standards. I would give it three stars because it was in need of renovation, but because it was not clean, it gets a two star status. The towels and beds were pristine though.
