Great location- lovely balcony to relax on when you want to get away from the business which is so close- yet far enough to not be able to hear anything when sleeping. Great all round service.

Great location and good functional room. Cheap and cheery. You get exactly what it says on the tin! Close to transport, lots of food areas around. Back packera area around the corner so close to tour offices too. Great host Kevin. Heped with everyting i needed help with straight away! A bit tired inside but hey for this price i can not complain. Free washing machine available, which is afte a few sweaty days can be godsend. People with mobility issues aware the rooms are all on first and second floor and the staircase is pretty narrow.

Kevin's place is in a fantastic location-5 minutes walk from the Ben Thanh market, adjacent to a street full of nightlife (but there's no noise from this street in the flat). Definitely stay here if you're looking for a few days in a central location. Kevin provides suggestions of where to go, and replies to any messages you have really quickly. I got to the train station at 5.30 am, and I was able to leave my bags in the office until check in! The balcony area is lovely to have breakfast or dinner on, and you can cook on it. Kevin provides a towel and some sachets of body wash and shampoo.

Kevin's place was great. It was easy to find. Just use the address he gives you and you should be fine. The taxi drivers find it hard to understand the address that airbnb gives. The room had an en suite bathroom which makes it really convenient. The A.C. works great too. Being able to do laundry was a life saver. I really enjoyed the mini fridge in the room. I definitely put it to use. The Wi-Fi is in and out but we should be exploring not be on our phones all the time. It's a real close walk to Bui Vien. Overall, a good bang for your buck.

The location of the house is great, it's very near the busy Bui Vien street and it's very convenient. You can find a lot of services, street food and all the necessities around the area. The check-in process is quite convenient and straightforward. There's no trouble for self-check in. However, there are many mosquitoes in my room and in the stairs and the hall, which is really uncomfortable for me. The kitchen and dining place outside is not really hygiene and I think that's where the mosquitoes come from. During my 3 day stay, the toilet got stuck on the 2nd day and I couldn't reach the host until the 3rd day when I was about to leave. And actually it was not fixed until I left. On the 2nd day, the aircon probably broke down so it made a terrible noise at the middle of the night (around 2am) for around 10 mins, which freaked me out.

Response from Kevin Viet:
Hi Trang, thanks for your review. I am sorry to hear about your experiences. Unfortunately, it is in rainy season during your stay that caused mosquitos, we have emptied the plants so that there is no birth place for them. Regarding the toilet stuck, as we have written review on your profile, even though we have written very clearly this house rule in the bathroom, you did not take note of, we have prepared a bin so that you can throw toilet paper in as we know that the house pipe is small, it cannot take much of the toilet paper and will get stucked. By not following the house rule, the toilet was stuck and became uncomfortable place and led to the overall unsatisfaction from both sides. It was a hard time for you but for us as well. Lastly, regarding the aircon, there was a very very heavy rain that caused the aircon noise, but we noticed it is an unexpected one-time incident since the 2 guests right after you do not have any of this experience.
