Interaction with guests
We live here full-time and should be available most of the time.
We have a 16 month old puppy, fish and 2 finches as pets in the shared part of the home.
Other things to note
This home was built in 1927 by Phocion S. Park. Mr. Park was a "Bailey Building and Loan," of sorts. He founded lumber, building, finance, and oil companies here in Houston while also serving as Vice President of the Commerce Bank under President Jesse H. Jones. Mr. Park is thought to be largely responsible for much of the development of Houston's oldest historic neighborhoods. Sadly, this is the only remaining structure Mr. Park built for his family; several others nearby were demolished to build apartments.
The structure is of colonial design with an unusual front wing and, typical for Houston, has a detached 2-car garage with servants quarters above.
Common courtesy rules our home.
The entire property (inside and out) is smoke, vapor, drug, and pet-free. Excluding our dog, pond fish, fish aquarium, and two finches.

We are a married couple, one working in retail pharmacy management and one semi-retired from chiropractic practice and teaching and now fixing up this old house and acting with the Houston Grand Opera.
We both volunteer for and/or support Houston Grand Opera, Houston Zoo, The Montrose Center, Covenant House, and Hermann Park.
We love to entertain and meet new friends.
We are perfectionists, so we keep our place clean and well maintained and look for places to stay that are the same.
Do unto others as they would have done unto them.
