▶SOUFIANE, the butler of Riad Persephone has worked and lived in the building for twenty years. He’s a Berber and a “Marakshee”, born and raised in Morocco. And he does things in the old way - a gentle giant who is always ready with a pot of mint tea, a tip about Marrakech or a sly joke. His Arabic and French are perfect and his English is good enough for a funny story over a xisha. Any time of the day or night he will be there to help you with a smile, give you ideas on where to go (and where not to) and what to do, and, since his family goes back many generations in Marrakech, he can solve virtually any problem you might have.

▶ALAIN, the booking manager of Riad Persephone is young and modern. One of the new breed of Marakshee. Educated in tourism and business he speaks impecable English, French, Arabic and Spanish. He can book any trip or activity you could want in Marrakech, he’s available 24/7 for any changes you might need to make to your reservation.
