This was my first very bad experience. Abhishek with his family booked few days before coming and was prompt in messaging. On arrival he came, before check-in time, as we agreed, right on time even if he asked me to book a water taxi for picking them up at the railway (Website hidden by Airbnb) was all agreed, the time, the meeting point the way to arrival the price and the means of payment, they exchanged the cell phone numbers. At the end he did not take the water taxi, he found a cheeper solution to reach the apartment, while the taxi driver was waiting for them in front of the railway station. Of course people can cancel a booking but not when the taxi driver has already come. Luckily I had not to pay the booking, because the taxi driver knows me,and I usually am a correct client, I apologized. He said it was not my fault. When I asked him the reason why he changed his decision, he candidly answered he found a cheeper solution.
During their stay one day after their arrival I wrote to them in order to know how their stay was going on, (see the history), They answered were enjoying their stay and everything was fine. One day before their departure they complained the dishwasher had problems. The first time, they said, it was blocked and two lights were lit. For their admission they did not close the door properly. The second time in five days they put all the kitchenware inside the basket with the remains of food so as they clogged the filter and the drain pipe. I had to call the technician for unlocking the exhaust pipe and I paid him. It sometimes happens but they did not even apologize. On departure they left the apartment in a terrible mess. The baby had cough and vomited and towels and the tapestry of the armchairs knew it. Poor boy, it was not his mistake. In few words, they were rude guests and I am really sorry for that.
For the relief done on the cleanliness, good lie. The carpet, as usual, was cleaned and under the bed there could not be dust because the bed has a large drawer beneath it adhering to the floor.
We welcome people from five continents, different for sex, sexual orientation, skin color, religious belief, political beliefs, personal and social conditions. They are all very welcome!
In 98% of the cases the guests are very kind, polite, friendly and also warm people.
On departure they greet us gratefully and smiling and we are happy for them and for the good memory they have of their stay in Venice. In this case, we are rewarded of our efforts.
In 2% of cases it does not happen. We are sad for that.
