Our house is almost new, about 50 metres from the Bonanza Resort, and a short walk to the best little coffee stand in Khao Yai. You're surrounded by trees and birds and crisp fresh air, with all the modern conveniences in a much-loved family home.

The house is beautiful but underequipped: no knife at all, no shower curtain, no wine glasses, not enough toilet paper, no coffee machine, very cheap water boiler, no hand soap except in one bathroom. Also, there is a problem with the shower with water spilling in the whole bathr…
Response from Chomchai:
Dear Marc, thank you for your stay at innesthome. We have our housekeeper on standby anytime if you are in need of any extra help, and if you had called me I could have resolved everything instantly for you. I was surprised that you could not find the kitchen knives, and I'm glad you were able to improvise with the colored wine glasses. After you left we checked the shower head and it is in good condition; however it does have an adjustable knob on the side to change the water flow and you may have missed that if you're unfamiliar with that design. Extra items of soap and toilet tissue are in the storage cabinet in the kitchen, and anytime you run out of any of those, or cannot find them, all our guests have my mobile number to contact me at anytime. Your comment on the cheap water boiler was perhaps not quite fair. It is very standard equipment in Thai homes and is in good condition and working well, and we provide instant coffee for that first cup after your journey. As you know, we recommend that our guests bring their own food and coffee supplies because of the rural location. A plastic shower curtain in the bathroom is not an option because it is difficult to keep clean from stains due to the mountain water being so high in calcium carbonate, and even the 5-star hotels up here are not commonly using shower curtains anymore. We are located in the Bonanza resort, 200 meters from the resort hotel and 500 meters from the Bonanza Zoo and Golf Club. Khao Yai National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a stunning array of flora, fauna, rainforest, waterfalls and fresh air, and a most wonderful place to explore. There is no public transportation, so driving around its 300 square kms, or enjoying a mountain-bike ride if you brought along your bike, are the only transport options. Marc, you were a perfect guest and we appreciate your feedback, so please do come back and spend some more time with us if you have the chance. Not only will we get the wine glasses suited to your favorite wines, we’ll also arrange to take you to one of Khao Yai’s famous wineries for a long lunch and a cooling glass of something grape. .
Hello, thanks for considering our home for your Khao Yai vacation. I am an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, a mother of one wonderful 7-year-old son (don't all moms say that!), and when I need a place to rest…
