Interaction with guests
As much or as little as you like. We typically select guests with whom we have an easy rapport, and even more often make new friends before our new guests' arrival.
This is one of the best streets in the Hollywood Hills, private and exclusive yet only a few minutes to LA's best attractions, restaurants, museums and parks. You're halfway between downtown and Santa Monica, and centrally located as a base to go anywhere in LA or the Southern California area. Stunning views of the hills and magnificent houses as you drive up to your own estate, which is a sanctuary from your busy day. Or, you may wish to just stay home and enjoy the amenities, paddle tennis court, outdoor fireplace, state-of-the-art/brand new Viking outdoor kitchen, or just collapse on a chaise lounge pool side and enjoy the view.
You'll need a car or Uber, Lyft, taxi or some such service to get to the major sites or an easy public transport spot hub like a metro stop.
Some of LA's best hikes are less than two blocks from the house. The location, we call it our little Canyonette is sandwiched between two big canyons--Runyon Canyon and Laurel Canyons. The great news: even though we're in the hills, it's an easy walk to Hollywood, the metro Sunset Boulevard. Also, guests may park in a private motor court.
Other things to note
Too many to list here. Stunning views from house and extremely close to some of LA's best hiking trails that overlook at 270 degree views of Los Angeles, from Santa Monica and Venice, beach to downtown LA. (This is not the Valley side of the hills, it is the West Hollywood, Sunset Strip, Nichols Canyon side--the views are AMAZING.)
• Check-In Time: 4:00 PM
Parties: There is a separate fee structure fee for parties and events. Hosts also offer full-service party packages--they designed it so that you can be a guest at your own party--which are over the top. They are expensive. They are worth it.
Film shoots also follow a different fee structure available on request. Filming requires all necessary permits from the city of LA and pre-production sign-off by house owner.
We are both enterpreneurial, love to travel, and we divide our time between LA, Rancho Mirage, NYC and, often, airports.
We all love this micro business, particularly the hospitality part. We are thrilled when we can facilitate our guests holiday, in any way, to be both brilliant, and to far exceed their expectations. This house will do that: it's a spa retreat in the desert, with state-of-the-art everything. If you are a fan of luxury finishes and features: we are likely a match. This house is designed to spoil you.
While the house is large enough to accommodate a fraternity, we prefer to host a smaller, quiet group.
It's a beautiful scenic landscape, and very private, so hooting and hollering, in or outside, of the property is discouraged.
Please tell us a little about yourself, and what brings you to Sothern California, so that we can better provide an optimal hosting experience.
