Neighbourhood highlights

Ideally situated for a short walk down to Hamara Bay; check for when the tides out for a lovely walk along the beach but also great when the tides in as you often get to see the seals.
A short drive to Neist Point Lighthouse, you are also only a 10 minute drive to the world famous Three Chimneys restaurant, 20 minutes drive to Dunvegan, with Castle and Gardens and a variety of shops and restaurants, including The Old School House. Reservations are best made in advance as they are often busy especially during peak season.
With Portree a 50 minute drive away, hosting shops, restaurants and boat trips and further afield to the stunning Old Man of Storr and Quaraing.
Our peaceful surroundings are what make the Lodge such a special getaway but we do have a fantastic local shop and post office and Cafe Lephin (open during the day March to November).
Fishing permits are also available for fishing on the River Hamara where a catch and return policy is in place (£10 for a one day permit ot £30 for a week - permits can be purchased from the local shop).
