The bedroom and bathroom are small, but cozy. There is wireless wifi.

You are welcome to use the kitchen. Close walk to downtown, transit minutes away. Share common area with owners and dog.
You'll have full run of the house except for our room. Otherwise make yourselves at home!
Interaction with guests
We generally work from home, so we are available to meet and greet all our guests, and able to share our knowledge of the neighborhood and city. If you have any questions we are more than happy to help out!
Other things to note
We do have pets, usually 2 dogs, they are older, but still around...they are not allowed into your room.
If you are uncomfortable with animals this place would not be "a fit" for you.
We do not allow pets or smoking. We expect our guests to be respectful of our neighbours and our space. Please do not wear footwear around the house.

We are often described as outgoing & friendly! We are semi retired, and able to work from home. Our little grandson & granddaughter visit us regularly and we have a lot of fun with them.
We have hosted international students for many years when our sons were younger and have made lifelong friends. We visit our "third son" in Japan, every few years really enjoy our trips there!
Our family heritage is Dutch and Danish, and we have traveled there to visit friends and family. My sister Carol & I have walked the Portuguese Camino, from Lisbon to Santiago, and loved it! We just returned from walking the Camino Francais from Leon to Santiago with our oldest son, Nicholas!
A big part of our lives are the mountains and "Mountain Culture". We often travel to Banff, Field and Jasper for hikes, and Paul is an active member of the Alpine Club of Canada (ACC). We love to go for walks around the neighborhood, a gorgeous view of the Calgary skyline and the mountains is only two blocks away.
We have a dog, Helmut, who is a "reserve dog", he is a big friendly mutt!
Carol, my sister, lives next door with her little white dog, Skye. We often have supper together.
