I love this apartment because it has the unique style of Southern Italy: domed Leccese stone ceilings, spacious rooms and a beautiful garden. It's in a very characteristic artisan area and within 5 minutes walk from the beautiful city centre.
The space we are letting out is a large space, which has been divided into two rooms by a wooden mezzanine floor. A winding staircase links this with the lower room, which has extensive storage space and bookshelves. Air conditioning serves both rooms. There is a private shower room - but this has to be accessed via the kitchen.
During your stay you are welcome to use the lounge and dining room.
Interaction with guests
We will be available to offer help during your stay, since we will be sharing the apartment. We have lived here on and off for 12 years so we can help you make the most of your stay in the area. We speak English, Italian, German and a bit of French.
Other things to note
The apartment is situated close to the railway station, which is handy for trips. In fact, the railway runs along the bottom of our garden, but as it's an extensive garden, they're not at all disturbing.
We expect out guests to be polite and considerate and tidy - particularly in communal spaces. We expect them to be reasonably quiet, especially at night.
