Where you’ll be

Wiltshire, United Kingdom

We live on the edge of the very special village of Broad Chalke which has a pub called The Queen's Head, a school, Church and an award winning village shop/hub which also has a thriving coffee shop with homemade produce.

We live at the bottom of the lane which leads to the Gurston Down Speed Hill Climb. They have half a dozen weekend meets and is accessible by foot. The Chalke Valley History Festival also takes place at the end of June, with a range of famous historians giving speeches, debates and lectures daily. Both these events are available online.

We are situated halfway between Salisbury and Shaftesbury. Salisbury has a market on a Tuesday and Saturday, Wilton on a Thursday and Shaftesbury has a fish market on a Thursday morning.

The Jurassic Coastline, Poole, Bournemouth, Studland Beach, Brownsea Island are all within an hours drive.

There are two golf courses within 15 minutes drive and Salisbury racecourse just 10 minutes away.

If you prefer walking in the beautiful countryside on your doorstep we can supply routes, booklets and maps.
