House Rules

Please keep the house and its properties safe by locking all doors and windows while you are away.

Please dispose all garbage into the trash containers found outside the unit. Please also pay attention to the trash collection day and put the trash containers by the sidewalk for pickup. If an excess of garbage was left inside or outside the unit, a minimum $50 fee will be charged.

Guests are expected to leave the home as they find it and with dishes washed and dried before leaving (leave them drying in the dryer is fine). Most recent used sheets & towels can be left un-cleaned.

Please kindly pay special attention to the following:
NEVER ADJUST THE AIR CONDITIONING TEMPERATURE BELOW 72, doing so will freeze the air conditioning unit and incur expensive repair charges.
If your property has a private pool, the Pool cleaner visits once a week.
Sever rain and bad weather can effect the cleanliness of the pool. If you wish for additional cleaning of the pool a $25 per visit fee is chargeable.

Great place, check-in was super easy, nice place for family with young kids. Easy access to the highway to get to where ever you want to go. Would stay here again.

A few things first: 1) When I come to Airbnb, I expect to stay in someone's home, not a 3rd party managed vacation destination. 2) When a listing says that it has certain amenities, make sure they have them (i.e. shampoo). 3) When the house rules say to run the dishwasher at the end of the stay, it's probably a good idea to provide dishwashing liquid (i.e. not expect the guest to go buy it). 4) When I get to a home and there is a 25 page manual on do's and don'ts, including an entire page on departure day procedures (which included placing any soiled linens in the laundry room), it's an immediate turn off. Not sure what my $90 cleaning fee is paying for when you require me to clean the entire place spotless before I leave. 5) They were doing work on the building all day Saturday, which was very annoying and loud. 6) Who doesn't have HD channels in this day and age - upgrade already. Trying to watch the final round of the Masters on the TV was painful. 7) Every time we walked in the front door after being away for at least 30 minutes, it had a very musty smell. 8) I live in S. FL, and telling me I can't lower the temperature below 72 is pretty lame. If you're concerned about your unit, get a maintenance contract to cover it. All that being said, the space was nice and spacious, and the price was good for a last minute stay. We only needed two of the four bedrooms, but it was nice that each bedroom had a ceiling fan in it. Not a lot of cookware to use. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed it.

Thank you for your review Dan. I am sorry you feel Air Bnb should just be for Private owners. I am a private owner but also take care of other peoples homes and Air Bnb is a great tool for people to use the site and we have lots of great reviews that doesn't reflect on because we are a vacation home manager. We explain all about us in our profile information. I want to confirm that we do not expect any of guests to clean, the information books simply asks if you want to help out by leaving the home how you found it, that will be nice, but not required and I do agree some of the wording needs updating. They are not RULES, just suggestions. I didn't realise we had advertised shampoo as we don't leave shampoo for our guests because people have so many different tastes. I will amend that if i need to. The Cable package is provided by the Resort HOA and does not come with HD I am afraid and we don't advertise HD for this reason. There are lots of great things to do in Orlando, so most of our visitors don't mind this. Again the Air conditioning is a recommendation so it doesn't get frozen up which has happened in the past when people have turned it down to 60. Not a rule just a polite recommendation and we don't lock the AC box up, just make this recommendation to avoid any unwanted damages. We will check out the musty smell and add an automatic air freshener neat the entrance door, this is the first time we have had this type of feedback for 505. Glad the kids enjoyed the pool and thanks for the feedback.
